    • Fast dryer without scalding my head or hair
Adding to my review of a few months ago: I have come to love this dryer. The air flow is strong but gentle, oddly. I have learned to work around the touchy temperature control by holding it more from the back side of the handle. The noise level is very acceptable and does not aggravate my hearing. It's comfortable to hold and I really appreciate the magnetic diffuser attachment as it allows me to slide/swivel the direction of the diffusere depending on the angle of attack. Here is my earlier review: I read all the reviews and agree with a few points and have a few more comments. The dome diffuser makes this hairdryer too shrill. I bought it to replace one that was too loud and seemed to make my tinnitus worse. So I won't use the dome diffuser. The drying speeds low and high both put out a lot of air. I had thought the low would be less air but with the slot diffuser it works very well. The temperature control or the three temperature settings plus the alternating hot cold are good. The speed setting is a switch but the temperature settings are a light touch button and I agree with the one review that said it's very easy to touch the temperature button when you're drying since it is right on the handle and change it when you don't really want to. That's my one complaint about it. I was thinking of returning it but then I used it for the first time and my long, thick, fine hair came out very sleek and thoroughly dried very quickly and I got compliments on my hair after my first use. So I do recommend it with those minor reservations. I'll probably try to build some sort of little cage that I can put over the temperature button so I have to work a little harder to change the temperature than doing so by accident.
