  • Missing part
The chair is amazing except one of the caps that go on top of one of the front wheels is missing. I really need that cap so I guess I will have to find a way to contact someone that will mail one to me. Otherwise, this chair makes all the difference.

  • Heavy Duty Wheelchair with A lot of Options
I specifically got an Invacare wheelchair from my experience in hospitals. Also because of all the optional equipment it can use to fit specific needs -- like ONE HANDED use (Invacare has a one hand operating kit for this wheelchair you can order from them). It's not light (43lbs!). It's designed for heavy duty 5 years of use. Hospitals have used Invacare wheelchairs for decades. Nurses comment about the quality compared to others (why I searched for it, too). What you get is a base wheelchair (mine came with no leg accessories, but it did have the fat grey pneumatic front wheels). It came fully assembled in a HUGE box. Had to open the box and pull the wheelchair out of it, then roll it indoors. It's build like a tank. It folds. It will take a beating and the wear and tear be it in rural or suburbia terrains. Really solid and strong. My advice is when getting the leg plates is to get a lap belt, too. A hard bump it's easy to be pushed forward. The nylon cloth is smooth so it's easy to slide in the seat. The lap belt helps to prevent needing to scoot back into the chair. Another note: when trying to figure width size, sit in a dining room chair and measure it to see if there's any wood/cushion/mesh left around your thighs. Inch seating around your thighs is a perfect fit. Everything is industrial heavy -- even the leg plates. The ones I got off of Amazon have to be at least 3lbs each (I have the chrome steel hemi articulating leg plates). Did I say HEAVY DUTY? The steel frames will last for over a decade! ... show more

  • Wheels are awful. Won't turn easy.
I didn't like the wheels, the seat, the medals are poking in my thigh. I am having a hard time maneuvering this chair.

  • Very long shipping time for a prime member
Excellent chair, great quality and I'm very happy with the product. Only 4 stars because it took a month to arrive and I almost cancelled the order. Now im glad i waited. Ordered on May 4, 2021 and finally arrived today, June 4 2021.

  • Leg attachments extra
I like the chair but having to buy the attachment for feet and legs are a hassle. I wish now I had bought a wheelchair where the legs and feet support were included.

  • Wheelchair was not the same as advertised
Bummed out. The front wheels were not even close to what the tracer wheels should be. (See photo) It was supposed to be new & the right, large wheel wasn’t gripping the floor. It’s as if something was bent or some thing. Very disappointed because I had my one & only wheelchair, an Invacare Tracer, for 20yrs! Everywhere I went people would comment on how easy it was to push & always asked me the name. The chair went with me to the hospital, on shopping trips, cruises, flights, & concerts. It held up through ALL of that! I was SO impressed that I immediately came back to Invacare when I needed a new chair. ::sigh:: Now I have to start over & maybe go with a different company. All I know is this was totally misadvertised. I wish Invacare would explain what went wrong. This is the one that fits my needs & if they can reach out & guarantee I get whats described/picture in the box they can take my money! In the meantime, I have to start looking around. :/ ... show more

  • Invacare is a great brand!!
I have had an Invacare wheelchair in the past and it is a great brand. It is sturdy and well made. I purchased the Fomi cushions for it and they work wonderful. Fomi and Invacare go together like peanut butter and jelly!!!

  • Great for newer houses w wider doors but doesn't fit thru doors in older houses.
New chair has 20 in seat so wheels are 4 in wider than standard 18 in seat. Fine for my newer house but at dads old house won't fit thru some doors. Wider let's me have a pocket storage hanging inside. Love new chair.
