  • Great value
Size: 20" Seat Width, 350 lb. Weight Capacity Style: Full-Length Arms
Received the chair 2days after ordering it brought as a refor my old wheelchair that the wheel had broken of and would cost as much to fix as buy new on this was the neared I could get to it. I found the brakes handles were a bit close to the framework causing me to jam fingers in and have at least four bruised fingers otherwise very happy with it hope this one last me as long as my old one which was nearly 10 years old .The only thing I'm annoying is I still have not received the foot plates I contacted the sellers who said they are sent separate. Now as a wheelchair user for over 30 years I have never had this before and as a paraplegic is very annoying so it's fa good job the ones from old one fits otherwise I could not go out at all I have given it three because of the foot plates when and if they arrive I will update the review I would recommend this great wheelchair for the price update Recieved the footplates this afternoon can now give it 5 stars but still can't understand why they cant be delivered together ... show more

  • very happy with this wheel chair
Size: 22" Seat Width, 350 lb. Weight Capacity Style: Desk-Length Arms
My brother recently ended up in a wheel chair. He was discharged from a nursing home in this make and model loaner wheel chair. He was very satisfied with it, but when we attempted to get a replacement for it we discovered two things: (1) Medicare takes a "one size fits all" approach to wheel chairs and would only pay for a wheel chair that was too small, and (2) there is no one in our town who is experienced in fitting a wheel chair to an actual person. So I ordered this wheel chair because this is the make and model of the only wheel chair that he was comfortable in. I'm very pleased because it was easy to remove from the large box it came in and required no assembly. He's very pleased because it is comfortable for him. He particularly likes the longer arm rests that are more comfortable for his arms, but he's also mentioned that it's easier to propel and has a shorter turning radius which makes it more maneuverable. ... show more

  • Based on the reviews this seemed to be the best way to avoid injury to my back trying to ...
I was in need of a way to move my disabled husband from a hospital bed to a wheel chair and then from the wheel chair to his recliner and to do the reverse moves back and forth several times a day. Based on the reviews this seemed to be the best way to avoid injury to my back trying to transfer him by myself. Unfortunately, I did not factor in the difficulty using the lift on carpeted floors. It requires too much strength on my part to move the lift even a few inches when he is on it. It moves fairly well when I am just moving the lift around and he is not on it. My only solution would be to replace all my carpeting with hardwood floors and I don't think that will happen. Also, the stand up sling that comes with the lift is not very helpful for someone that just needs to be transferred. The transfer sling is really needed. Of course they want more than another $100.00 to get the sling that should have come with it in the first place. If you watch the videos on YouTube that demonstrate the use of the transfer and stand up slings, they always use two people to operate the lift and help the patient. Since there is not a second able bodied person in my home, this really was not the best solution to my husband's mobility issues. ... show more

  • I'm very satisfied with the wheelchair
I'm very satisfied with the wheelchair. Its just as described. My issue is with the packaging. The box came with a flimsy piece of cardboard at the top and very thin plastic to cover the top of the chair. Other than that, there was no packaging to protect the chair. It was loose in the box, but luckily, there was no damage when we received it. ... show more

  • Wheelchair broke after 3 months, Customer Service was horrible
Size: 20" Seat Width, 350 lb. Weight Capacity Style: Full-Length Arms
The wheelchair was purchased in Feb 2021, and by May 2021, the guard on left side of the seat has already cracked. Called Invacare to request help, was given a number to call Amazon. That took me to a reward center where I was told that just for calling during a promotional period, I would receive a $100 gift card, and then the manager would speak with me about the wheelchair. But to get the gift card, I had to authorize a $2.00 charge for shipping, and give him my card number. I told him I would not give him my card number, and let me speak with the manager. He said he couldn't until I gave him my card number, so I hung up. When the man answered, he didn't say he was with Amazon, he said rewards center, so I have to wonder who he really works for. I'm disappointed in Invacare for not helping me, and giving me a number to a reward center that didn't help either. ... show more

a tremendous help... My best friend suffered a stroke after surgery for an ascending aortic dissection. Doing single person transfers at home was killing me and this is a life saver... Suggest getting the Transport sling at the same time. The sling that comes with this is incredible as it helps him get in to a standing position, however the R134 transport slink is great for trips to the bathroom and moving him place to place. ... show more

this wheel chair is good in every way, but I made a mistake and ordered one that was too wide, I thought they were adjustable, but they are not. if you order one that is too wide you have to live with it.
