I'd upgraded from Paperwhite 2. The display is great with warm light. I always have some warm on even during the day. Screen resolution 300 ppi is sharp. Noticeable upgrade from Paperwhite 2 which is only 221 ppi. Backlight is smooth in brightness across the screen. Battery is worse than Paperwhite. I read 2-3 hours a day and have to recharge every 2-4 days. (Most of the time with WiFi/cellular on. Well, at least it is better than mobile phone. Cellular is great for travel. Good for one hand. Reversing the button may help achieve better grip. Worth the price if you read a lot.

Even though it takes old fashioned micro usb for charging, the experience of eReading is wonderful. Comfort & light for easy holding, and its appearance is so glorious! And free 4G LTE is a surprised gift for foreigners who do not live in USA. With a 50% discount price, even if Oasis 3 would be a fading out Kindle product, it is still worth to own it.

The warm light, even outdoors at night time, is also very comfortable, and the free 4G LTE service is so crucial that I can just use it without my phone (to browse the wiki webpage to deepen my understanding), which is so great!

The device stopped functioning after 4 month due to battery issue! Intuitive: get into a book store, find a new book in a book store; find a book on the device; book reading. Less intuitive: when inside the book, how to get out. The device is able to detect files TXT and PDF files. Inconvenience: PDF file will return to its original font size, when moving to another page. A bit slow response - it's not a big issue, when getting use to it. Due not powerful CPU - very slow web sites load and device gets not responsive - reboot is the only cure. Its unclear if it is able to play MP3 books - I was failed to manage this feature.

Have owned several kindles from the original USA version and now the new oasis so you could say I am a fan, all are still in good working order except the original oasis which was bought when it first came out. This kindle just died, fortunately just before prime day, so was able to purchase the latest top of the range for a very good price. It’s slightly larger than the original and one piece rather than the cover and battery of the previous version, which once I started using found I much preferred. It seems faster and the lighting which can be adjusted to your own preference is great. All in all as far as I am concerned a great buy, and looking forward to many hours of reading. One thing you do need a cover for protection but think the amazon one is overpriced, you can pick a good cover on Amazon that works just as well for a fraction of the price. ,

I decided to buy this model because of its weakness adjustment feature and so far I’m very happy with it. And I also love the physical button to turn pages, reading before bedtime for me is much more enjoyable because of these two features.

The Oasis 3 battery is terrible. I prefer my older Paper White on this. Otherwise, it's good. (high pixel density... etc). I use it now everyday.
