I was attracted by the price. I needed a safe to protect toddler from accidentally finding my firearms. From that perspective, I am satisfied. Compared to higher end safes, it’s pretty flimsy. I would compare the structure to a more rugged metal filing cabinet. I don’t trust that it will protect valuables from fire or water damage. The shelf inside is also useless if you own any rifles which is too bad because I would like to use it. The lock is great and the overall look of the safe is nice. The media could not be loaded. For the price, it’s very decent. Simple to assemble. I put it together all by myself. The sides and back panels are flimsy but once assembled it seems to be sturdy. front door is very heavy due to the locking mechanism inside. Once you secure to the wall with the provided hardware, it’s solid as rock. It hold about 5-6 rifle comfortably, not 10 like advertised. The foam insert for rifle is too short so the scope would hit the back wall. No problem if you can be a little creative with 3D printing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Firstly, instructions aren't only obscure, parts of it are wrong. For instance look at part N in the photos. Now look at Part N. The instructions dont even know which part is what. They obviously <screwed> that up... Putting it together was a nightmare. The top piece was damaged with a bend extruding making it impossible to fit into place. I decided just to try and bend it back with a hammer which did the job as best it could... It only gets worse from there. WARNING. DO NOT LOCK YOUR THINGS IN WITHOUT SETTING UP THE DIGITAL CODE... I unfortunately did not do that. I put about $1400 dollars worth of rifles and belongings and well... they are locked in there. As you can see in the video, the key is jammed. I have spent hours trying to get the key loose. It feels like the key lock mechanism fell apart internally but I cannot know for certain. The funny part is that the QUALITY of this safe is SO BAD, if it comes to it, I can break in. A few hard hits with a hammer and I can get through the top or bottom panel with ease. That being said, if you are looking for a safe to keep thief's and lock picks out, DO NOT BUY THIS. It can only keep children out... we'll hopefully. I'm hoping the safe I got is only a defect, but with how many things went wrong, I doubt it. Would not recommend! ... show more

This is a sturdy unit which fit together nicely. The directions could be better and a novice would probably have trouble with the assembly, but someone with mechanical experience should be able to figure it out. The fingerprint reader works better than expected and I am happy to be able to quickly and easily open the safe. Note that although this is called a safe, it is not of the 10 ton bomb proof variety. A thief with tools and some time could get in, but it would take a little work. This is more for keeping kids and curious visitors out, which is what I wanted. Good purchase. ... show more

It's Amazon, so you know you're getting a Chinese product. Set your expectations accordingly, and you'll do fine. Pros- -Priced to sell. -It does what it promises, which is to provide a secure place to store weapons. It won't keep the lockpicking lawyer out, but it will keep the kids out. -The door pockets are nice and convenient. Cons- -Flimsy sheet metal that makes loud war-drum like noises during moving and assembly. Don't try to put this together while your neighbors are sleeping. -The small shelves that sit on the corners are a cruel joke. They couldn't be bothered to bend the tabs at the factory, and they want you to grab pliers and bend the tabs yourself, causing imperfect and misaligned bends that causes the shelves to pop out. These are best thrown away, and other creative uses of the panels should be considered. -The instructions suck. They're just poorly drawn pictures with no written instructions. You have to look for VERY subtle clues that tell you which direction certain panels are supposed to be oriented in. -The foot pegs that were included are not for the model of safe I purchased. The instructions call for a different set. -The interior side panels they included are unnecessarily difficult to install because they call for sheet metal screws instead of using machine screws with a welded nut. The pre-drilled holes for the machine screws were not aligned properly. -The 10-12 gun storage is misleading. It's more like 6-7 long guns with 4 pockets for pistols. ... show more

I was very surprised that this is actually a much better value than the Tractor Supply "Stack-On" cabinets, since it has a keypad and soft rifle barrel holders. So long as your package arrives without any damage to the thin metal, this is a very good buy if you're looking for a gun cabinet. The metal is very thin and will definitely not stop someone determined to pry it open, but to keep your armory away from kiddo hands, this is a very good deal. Instructions were pretty awful, but we still got it assembled. ... show more

The instructions are extremely lacking and even incorrect in some parts. The quality isint the greatest also not the poorest. Over all for price it’s fair. However if you have the money to spend on a nicer safe. DO IT!
