This is a beautiful rug and appears to be a good quality. It is very soft underfoot. My only issue is the 12x12 square is actually 11'9" by 11'9". It worked for me but if you are counting on exactly 12 ft square you may be let down. I paid the additional amount to have the rug placed in the room where I wanted it and the people laid it out and examined it for flaws. There were a couple of threads that stuck up on it and I couldn't get it documented because the people that examined it could not speak English. Not a big deal as I trimmed them off and it seemed okay - but I would have liked to make a note of it in case it became a problem.

I have just purchased multiple rugs in this Safavieh design and am feeling transported by their beauty and sturdiness. For years, I've been having to replace "washable" rugs yearly after they wear out and lose their rubbery adhesiveness, but once I realized that I needed to step up to polypropylene (mold and stain-resistant) material without non-slip backing, I discovered Safavieh's product line, and I expect to be able to enjoy my new Safavieh rugs for a long time to come. These rugs are hefty enough that the larger ones in the product line may not need any anchoring at all, in order to be non-slip, and the tastefulness of the colors and designs available is exceptional. My rugs all arrived quite quickly, and all were packaged impeccably and without even the slightest damage. I wish that Safavieh offered a slightly larger selection of rug sizes per design, but when I couldn't find a rug of the right dimensions for one of my rooms among the those available for the design I chose, I wandered into a different product line and, to my delight, found a Safavieh rug of slightly different material and trim that sported a pattern with the same color combination (an odd, but beautiful combination) as appears on all the other rugs I bought. So I have a very close match, now, across two separate Safavieh product lines. And btw, the images in the product listings here provide an accurate view of colors, but actually do not do justice to the beauty of each rug once it is rolled out and in its new digs.

I was pleasantly surprised by this rug. It is very plush, feels about 1.5-2 inches thick in pile. Additionally, the colors look very rich and expensive. I took a risk on this piece and am glad I did- it's terrific for my home office and looks great. We laid it upside down for a couple of days and the curls in the corners came right out and laid flat. Update: I loved this rug so much I bought it in an 11x15 for our bedroom. It is so soft and beautiful. We just love it. Holds up to traffic and dogs. Covers any spills well with the abstract pattern. This rug is thick- it does not need a pad!

I bought the 7x9 rug for my office area and it looks great. Funny thing is, I bought the exact same rug design in a larger size from a different website and it matches it perfectly. The rug is super soft with a nice sheen to it. It's thick and dense, does not shed, and stays put since placing it.

This area rug is everything and more! The gold is like a mustard that changes with the light. It looks just like the picture. It's perfect! I got the 8X10.
