Mrs Aloha Friday and I were excited to try this, but also a little intimidated, as we are with a lot of technology and being old dinosaurs! Turns out we didn't need to worry at all. It's as intuitive and as easy to navigate as a fancy iron. A very large version of an iron! I turned it on, and in no time it was hot, and we were off to the races. The digital controls are easy to use, and embroidered patches were no problem at all for the press. It's very independent, you aren't the muscle doing all the work; the machine is. Mrs AF is petite and has no hand strength, but had no problem using the press because you just lift it off the stand and set it down on the garment. The vibration does all the work; no pushing and pulling the machine like a household iron. In fact, once we got started, we wanted to do dozens of shirts! The decals took 50 seconds at 150°C (about 300°F), adding 20 seconds to the decal manufacturer's instructions and also giving the back 25 seconds. It produces perfect results and feels like the real deal. It's mostly plastic with a 9" square metal plate, but it feels like very nice quality. One negative. The foam they give you to protect your surface is much smaller than the plate. Maybe the edges of the plate don't get hot enough so they make your usable area smaller. Not sure, but we'd like to have a foam mat that's just a little smaller than the plate instead. Like 8" or 8.5" square. We were okay because we were just using small decals. We're going to look into purchasing a larger piece of foam. Mrs AF and I are excited for all the possibilities having a machine like this can bring. Maybe gifts for family and friends. Maybe a small business after I retire. It opens up some avenues that could be a lot of fun, and the machine was easy and stress-free to use. If you look closer to the lower hem of my new shirt, you'll see the spaceship is coming back to pick up our astronaut, so don't worry! ;o)

I bought the VHLVHL 9" x 9" vibration heat press for small craft projects. It is portable and does not take much space. The LED display is clear, and the controls are simple. It heats up fast and works well on T-shirts and tote bags. I also like it for small detailed areas where a big press feels awkward. The vibration feature helps, but you still need to press evenly and move carefully. On thicker seams, I sometimes need a second press. I took off one star because it has a learning curve at first. Overall, it is a solid tool for home crafting.

I’ve been using this for small crafting projects and it’s been really easy to work with. The size is great for shirts and smaller items and the controls are simple to understand. This is a good quality heat press. It’s very easy to use with clear notifications letting you know when it’s at temperature and timing. It’s got a big plate allowing for single press applications. The plate has good even heat distribution without major hot spots. It’s a good deal for a quality press.
