The media could not be loaded. So far it works great I can play WAY more games now with it on my Optiplex 5050 and this being my first rodeo when it comes to altering Pcs I have very little if anything to really complain about, if I had to say something bad about it I would warn that it doesn't like video editing too much and heated up pretty quick when doing so Which lead to me buying a new Cooling Fan and heat sink to go with it Which definitely helps since I had the stock Fan installed at first, but as far as basic web surfing,gaming,ect it's speed is like night and day compared to the other cpu I had as far as installation I just popped it into the slot were it goes added the thermal paste (I used artic 5 originally but switched to corsair tm30 but I might switch back 🤔) the noise level is pretty much nonexistent ( like I said it doesn't seem to care for vid editing to much so that's the only time it seems to rev up at all, most of the time I forget it's on to be honest.) And for the price I paid I definitely recommend at least considering it ( I think the one I bought was used so I can only imagine how a fresh one would perform👌) all things considered I'm satisfied...also GeForce RTX 3050 gpu incase you were curious...

I saw this price and my son was asking to max out our current desktop build on a z270 board. It used to mine crypto on a g4400. It does that thing up so much! Great processor and the price was well worth the performance increase. He can play the oculus quest2 wired to the pc now and his graphics and performance is remarkably awesome. Also, I can play Xbox games on the pc so much more amped up! The gtx1060 6gb doesn’t sweat the processor now. they compliment each other very well. 16gb ram, 2tb ssd, this machine rolls now. It’s so old, but now has another lease on life. Awesome upgrade for the cost.

the specs in the page said 4 cores and this processor is supposed to have 4 cores, but it only has 1 core which makes it much slower than it should. After looking at the bios setup and looking on the forums, found out that I was at fault as the bios had a setting (multiprocessor) which needed to be selected for the cpu to be able to use the full 4 cores. Now with all 4 cores, the cpu is what I needed. so am happy with my purchase now.

My rig is about 6 years old and, up until lately, had been keeping up with the latest games okay, but has been struggling recently. It has an Asus Prime B250M-A motherboard and was equipped with an Intel i5 7400 from the factory. I had put off a processor change for awhile due to cost, but found this renewed i7 for a steal of a price and took the plunge. Holy crap, the transformation is unbelievable. The graphics now are so much smoother and where before it felt like my system was running on the edge (because it was), it's now barely breaking a sweat. CS2 would frequently crash, but has been stable so far. If you've been on the fence about this upgrade, don't wait any longer, just do it. No regerts!!
