Absolutely excellent temperatures under load and/or while gaming. 13400 runs slightly faster than 12400F I had previously, but it still stays very cool and stable using Phanteks 240 GlacierOne liquid cooler. I tried 13600K, it was horrible - unstable and extremely hot even with a liquid cooler. 13400(F) is the best value for 13th gen - cheap, stable, easy to cool, runs Cyberpunk 2077 easily paired with RTX 4080. If you are looking for even better value - go with 12400(F). ... show more

truly i am a nincompoop. totally un-needed for gaming, save your money and get an i5 silly goose. UNLESS your playing Distant Worlds 2 which REQUIRES 12 cores to load their biggest map for play! No other game has such a steep price to play! and dont ask too much about how P&E cores are dealt with in that nonsense..but really it does have alot happening and if your into rts' and logistics in general its quite good; Biggest drawback being its only single player ;P ... show more

This is a great processor for the price, I spent around $200 on it at the time of purchase. It's a good midrange option for building a pc and comes with a fan. The processor comes pre applied with a small bit of thermal paste but I'd wipe it off and re apply a new one.
