For me, coffee is not just a cup on the table, it is a process. I like: - this old-school dial gauge; - very thick and dense foam; - cappuccino cooks quickly and efficiently. I did not like: - Does not fit most standard cups in height. To do this, you need to remove the tray. But then it is not possible to put two cups; - very noisy and rattling; - the declared function of heating the cup - does not work, the place for heating the cup is heated, but it heats up for a very long time and very weakly. The media could not be loaded. So I was a little surprised to find this machine is made nearly entirely of plastic. Only the portafilter cup is metal that I can tell. I guess for the price I expected a little more. I have to say I was very disappointed in my first couple of cups which brewed only at 130ish. Immediately after brewing I had to microwave my cup to get it to drinking temp. I contacted the seller who just kept telling me their machines have tested at 150 temp brew. Well, finally today, I let the machine warm up longer and I brewed (2) two cup size brews which measured 150 deg. I still felt the need to heat the cup in the microwave to get it to a temp that wouldn’t cool before I could drink it. I’ve made a video of the machine brewing. It’s a little louder than I expected. But to be fair, I’ve never had an espresso machine. I’ve been brewing in a moka pot which I suppose also may make me expect a hotter cup. I’m on the fence right now whether I like my moka pot coffee better. I’ll continue to use this to try different grind sizes to try to get the brew I’m looking for. If you are looking for a very simple machine with no user settings to speak of, this is a nice little machine. I found the portafilter a bit difficult to twist in at first but it’s getting better now. Be sure to prime before first brew by turning setting to hot water and brewing that first. I have not tried the steamer as I don’t use milk. The one other thing that irritates me is this thing just keeps dripping after the brew. I always put a paper towel down when I take my cup out but it does have a generous drip tray. I do like the compact size of this machine as I live in my RV. This espresso machine is very compact and light in weight. it is so light that i had to hold it down to that it doesnt move when inserting the coffee grounds. the espresso works great. it generates nice shots. I use this machine mostly with steamer. the steamer option is not so great. it adds lots and lots of water to the milk. the milk quantity gets almost doubled by the time milk gets heated up. it is also difficult to get the coffee grounds out of the holder after use. the controls for the steamer option is not great. it just has the default time setting on it and is not customizable. ... show more

This is my first espresso machine and I would say that as a beginner it was very simple to set up and start using. The instructions that came with it are very clear and you’ll find them easy to follow. My first cup of espresso from this machine tasted amazing, some of the best coffee I’ve had. It has warmer on top where you can reheat or keep your coffee warm. The milk frothier does splash a tad and can make somewhat of a mess if you’re not careful but other than that this machine is easy to use and makes great coffee. ... show more

I never had an espresso machine before this one so I can't make any comparisons. I have very little counter space and this fits perfectly so I will say it's great for small spaces and very easy to use and clean. My espresso comes out great. I'm very happy with this so far.

Good quality, easy to use and makes a delicious cup of espresso. Comes with everything you need, even a step by step manual, just in case this is your first machine. Just make sure your grounds made for an espresso blend, or it will be very weak, it is almost like a powder. I am getting one for my sister as, every time she visits, she insists that I make us some.     • Small, Efficient Espresso Maker
The media could not be loaded. This machine takes up very little space, and works incredibly quickly! Everything heats up within seconds of powering on, and the coffee dispenses in no time. The machine is put together well, and the water reserve tank is super easy to detach/refill and reattach. As other reviewers have mentioned - there is a slight learning curve in terms of how fine to grind the beans and how aggressively to tamp them, but there is a sweet spot and once you find it you should absolutely be able to enjoy the results (the espresso is delicious.) The milk steamer/frother is standard issue, and works exactly as it should. I found it interesting that the machine didn’t come with a cup or decanter, but that’s not really a big drawback as most people using this machine would already have something useable. ... show more
