Upon opening the box (which was packaged well and quickly and safely), I immediately thought "there's no way that this tiny thing is going to output enough hot water." Well, I was wrong. I have no idea how they engineer these little things to be such monsters at continuously outputting hot water, but it's impressive. I have a 6,000+sq/ft 1800s Victorian farmhouse in the country and at the far side of the house (from the main, huge traditional hot water tank), the long run of hot water from the other side of the house just can't maintain temperature well enough at the tap in our master bedroom bath. So although this huge tank "can" keep up, performance wise, I don't like having to wait over two minutes for the pipes to heat back up as the water runs needlessly down my drain before I can hop into the shower or use hot water in my master laundry room sink, etc. Call me impatient. Anyhow, I decided to add this into the mix and located it right inside a utility cabinet inside of my master bathroom since we were in the middle of a remodel there anyways and I am so glad I did. Now, when I turn on the water, I have instant heat and man, do I mean instant (like less than 10 seconds, to any tap). Now my main tank no longer has to be burdened by supplying water to this portion of the house at all. Yet in the wall, I created a sort of hot-water supply switch, if you will, to allow me to later (if I so desire, for whatever possible reason), to switch to either system with the simple turn of a valve. Anyhow, that's probably useless for this review. Regarding this product, if you've already got 240V power in place and a cold-water supply line (which I did not), then installing it couldn't be easier. Once installed (and the directions are clear, although almost unnecessary as it's so straight forward - but then again, I'm a general contractor, so maybe I see things a bit differently), this thing really puts out the hot water. I can run my master bath walk-in show, while my wife is right around the corner running hot water in the sink at full open, and it just keeps going continuously without any sense that it's struggling - no dips, no slightly less hot moments - nothing. Setting your preferred temp is very easy too, as the touch-screen control is simple and straight forward (Hotter? Push up. Colder? Push down) Overall, I couldn't be happier with this little unit and therefore, gladly and highly, recommend it to others.

The electrician in our family gave this unit a big thumbs up, and luckily we had the right stuff to hook it into the kitchen sink cabinet, where we hoped it would go. If you or a family member aren't an electrician, you're going to want one. This has very high, and specific, power requirements. Not as much as our whole house tankless water heater, but still quite a bit. Once the science was dealt with, hookup was a breeze. The tank itself is effortless, and works wonderfully. It's pretty sharp looking to boot. The self modulating it advertises may be above my head, but the faucet's controller does everything we need it to. And if we need really hot water, too hot to touch, it can provide that from the tap as well. I would suggest this unit for a single or even double use endpoint. It's more powerful than some single use units, and that is ultimately a good thing. And, like I opened with, this one was electrician approved, whereas some others we've asked him about were not. It is fantastic to have a tankless water heater! The device is really quiet and takes up very little wall space. We have hot water on demand, which never runs out.

Of course, this is a single use type of heater, though I have put a switch on this on-demand heater as it is mounted between my RV's kitchen sink and the small shower enclosure. I'd never be washing dishes AND taking a shower so it can work for two "spots" but that's in my RV. This water heater is the perfect size for my smaller RV (which I have been renovating so most of the interior is new, the roof is new, the systems like the lithium batteries, power inverter and solar panels on the room...are all new. So having a hot water on demand waer heater that pulls from the 30 gallon bladder I have stored under the buffet seat works for my needs. Great little instant hot water heater and the price is really good, too!

The water heater is great. It is small and compact but still powerful. We got it to use in our laundry area so we could set the washer up differently. Very good quality for the price.

We installed this under our kitchen sink, where it serves both the sink and dishwasher. You will need 240v power. In our case we had a 240v range outlet just a few feet away, which we don't use because our stove is gas. We capped off the hot line under the sink and fed this from the cold line. I used to be an electrician, so the electrical part was easy. If you don't have that skill, hire a pro. It works really well.
