I had the previous U Bolt Mount that Insta360 sold and wanted the newer version as it SEEMED more stable and higher quality. It lasted a few rides and towards the end of a longer ride, it snapped!! I had the smaller insta360 selfie stick on it with no camera, thankfully, so the stick wasn’t even in use and not out fully. The stick ended up between my fender and tire damaging my mudguard due to the mount snapping while riding. I ended up having to toss the stick and left with a completely busted “new” u bolt mount.     • The WingNut gets loose NO GOOD for EXTREME JUMPS AND SPORTS
I road my PWC / Jetski / Waverunner however you want to call it yesterday to try out the strength of the mount. The U-Bolt part is strong once you wrench it to the back part of the seat where the handle to get back on is at but the wingnut becomes loose in every jump I did. I notice that my insta360 x4 was in the water being dragged. After that in every wave jump I did that Wingnut will get loose. I’m going to return it no good. Also the tightening area for the selfie stick that also gets loose. Solutions : that WingNut needs to be the same thing as the u-mount nut or something that will lock it in.
