Ignore the reviews where the customer states they are too thick and make the shoe too small. YOU MUST REMOVE THE ORIGINAL INSOLES FIRST. They are glued in so they'll take a bit of work and grip strength pulling them out, but the replacements are the exact size and thickness of the originals.

I had a really difficult time fitting these into my shoes. They were a really tight fit even through they're the correct size for the shoe I was putting them in. When I first put the shoes on, it definitely felt foamy and much softer than the worn out soles I had been used to. But after about 20 minutes, my feet started to hurt worse than they ever have while wearing these shoes. I usually wear my converse to concerts where I'm standing for many hours at a time, and I've never really had my feet hurt before. I realized that the reason my feet were hurting is because the lift in the heel actually adds to much thickness, and it ended up making the shoes too small for me. I tried to ties the shoes looser and that helped a bit, but I had hardly any lace left over to actually make the loops necessary. I had to retie them multiple times throughout the day, whereas I never needed to retie them at all before I had these new soles inside. I think I was better off with my shoes before I had put these inside them unfortunately.
