What a great tv. It's only small and very budget friendly but for some reason I'm more than impressed by the picture quality, interface, ease of installation (can't weigh 10 pounds - wall mounting has never been easier). Even the built in speakers are respectable for quality and impressive for quality. I mounted this in my garage and there's lots of light and sound competition. TV works great! I am so glad I decided to take a chance on this 40" TV... I had a 65" older Samsung that I had mounted on a wall under my patio cover in the backyard for the last 2 years. Living in California means I can enjoy the outdoors at least 10 months out of the year. Well this last winter I think the heavy rains caused enough moisture to kill my Samsung... So instead of investing another $700 or so bucks on another 65" I decided to downsize to a smart TV that cost ONE HUNDRED AND NINE dollars!!! Are you kidding me? I could buy one of these every year if they die out in the weather and never be mad about it... Here the best thing about it... It has Firestick built in to the TV... that's another $40 value right there... I hooked it up to my existing wall mount and in 10 minutes I was watching TV and installing all my favorite apps in a flash... and the picture is outstanding... Absolutely no complaints with that. What I didn't like was the onboard speaker. Not good at all. Typical tinny sound that just sounds horrible... I had a soundbar on my 65" but I decided not to hook that up to this 40"... Instead I used my portable JBL bluetooth speaker and hooked that up to this TV... Now whenever I go outside to watch TV (usually sports) I just turn my bluetooth speaker on which automatically disconnects the onboard speakers and it sounds a million times better. Could not be easier. And now I have the perfect setup again. Do I wish it was a larger screen? Of course, don't ask such a dumb question. But am I happy with this TV knowing that it works and looks great and is essentially disposable. That sounds horribly materialistic, but it's true. Maybe in a year or two when this one needs replacing, the 55" will be the new $100 standard and I can upgrade then. We'll see... If you are hesitating at all about this TV, don't. The price is almost too good for what you get!!!

I’m very happy with this TV so far. It was delivered in just one day, which was amazing. Setup was quick and simple. I had it connected and streaming in minutes. The picture quality is really good for 1080p, and the sound is decent for built-in speakers. The Fire TV interface makes it super easy to use, and having Alexa built into the remote is a nice bonus. I can just ask it to open apps or play shows without clicking through menus. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the sound could be a little stronger, and the menu can lag slightly when switching apps. But honestly, for the price, this is a great value and works perfectly for a bedroom or smaller living room. Would definitely recommend it!

Very nice tv the picture is exquisite. The only issue is that the remote isn't fully sync so I got to figure that out other than that I really like it. I like all the pre-installed apps plus you can install your own. Overall all a very nice TV and the size is perfect for my man cave very lightweight.

Magnificent TV after 40 years my Zenith 13" died and we were able to save enough for this new huge 32" color TV our first ever color TV wow!! The new TV is so big with wonderful Color picture and beautiful clear sound, nice black frame ,a remote control that works everything (super), very easy to setup, it is 100% perfect, we have never seen such a total perfect TV,and such a expensive looking TV for such a great price (we could finally afford), for those who had negative comments you are crazy this unit has it all!! We just watched our first ever color movie and we (the 10 of us)were blown away that such a great TV was out there, thanks Mr. Amazon for making this available for us, at $90 it was a little expensive for our budget but we are so glad we could scrape save and borrow to purchase it,anyway we recommend this remarkable TV to everyone, we have already started to save for another( we never had 2 TV's) we hope to get another in 5 or 6 years.just like this one

This is a solid tv for the price, with a good picture quality, and all the apps I need in a smart tv. The colors seem true and vibrant and the remote control is easy to use. The wifi setup was easy and it didn't take long to have it online and operational. I was able to get it for a great price on sale and am not dissapointed with my purchase.

About a month ago our 42" Insignia Fire TV glitched out on me. I ordered this replacement. The TV is not used often but I am pleased with it. It seems lighter than the previous tv. It is easy to setup. I had not issues duplicating the settings from the first Fire TV to the new TV. After about 2 weeks of play time, I noticed on thing. The audio stutters when I play the YouTube app. I thought maybe it was the TV malfunctioning. That's not the problem. When I open and play other apps, the audio is perfect. No stuttering not lagging, no issues at all. But as soon as I return to YouTube, it stutters. I checked my wifi connection. It is a strong connection. I reset the YouTube app. I even reset the TV to default and repeated the setup procedures. The stuttering continues while playing YouTube. I can't attribute it to mishandling during delivery or damage freight. I personally collected the TV from Best Buy myself. I can only conclude that there is an update that needs to take place between YouTube and Insignia to fix the app's functionality.
