  • Great Replacement
Color: Fan-A
I have an Asus STRIX RX480 8GB card that had the "A Fan" die on it. This fan looks identical (minus the STRIX sticker) to the one it replaced. Cables were fine, connectors were fine. My original fan would spin at 2000RPM at 50%, 3000RPM at 75% and 4000RPM at 100%. This fan spins at 1800RPM at 50%, 2800RPM at 75% and 3600RPM @ 100%. That's not really a problem. I actually have had a few STRIX RX480 8GB's and not all of the fans were as fast as the original fan in this particular model. I think this replacement fan comes close to or matches the speed of some of the later models that I have had. Not sure why they varied to begin with. So, all in all, I'd buy these fans again if I needed to. ... show more

  • Great replacement fans at a decent price
Color: Fan-3pcs
I had issues with my Asus GTX 1080 strix graphics card after around 4 years of use, one fan was completely out of service, another fan was making a terrible squeaking noise, and the last fan was the only fully working one. Ordered these replacement fans and they arrived really quickly, only one day shipping. I ordered all three and replaced all three, the first two fans didn't have a good track record so I replaced the only working fan as well as a precaution as it was already old. The box that the fans came in also was a pretty handy tool in keeping track of the screws that I was removing. I recommend watching a few Youtube videos on how the process goes, as you will have to separate the heatsink from the rest of the graphics card. The process was fairly simple, just take the necessary precautions. The only issue that I ran into was that the fan cables were a bit longer than necessary, but it was nothing that a bit of bending and tape couldn't fix. It all fit snugly under the shroud so no major issues there. Another thing that I did while I was doing this was to take the opportunity to replace the thermal paste on my GPU, as it was already old and hardened. I also recommend that you do this if your GPU is older than 3-4 years old, if you're willing and capable. After installing the new fans and replacing the thermal paste, my idle temperature went from 58C to 44C with the fans always on, and 58C to 53C with 0db fan mode on. My full load temps also went from around 75-80C to 60-63C. Overall I'm happy with the improvements, great product. ... show more

  • Constant throttles up and down below 62-63%
Color: Fan-3pcs
Edit: Center fan stopped working after 6 months and one other is making a ticking sound now. Fans fit videocard ok but cannot be assigned a constant low speed to reduce noise. All three fans start and spin up, then slow down and then speed back up when set to anything lower than 62-63% of maximum. So that is the slowest speed the fan can maintain without changing speeds. The stock fans would run as low as 40% so they were much much quieter when dialed down. Very annoying to hear the fan speed up and slow down constantly when you just want them on a really low setting to keep noise down and heat out. ... show more

  • 2 of 3 fans are good
Color: Fan-3pcs
Guess it's a QC issue but fan C had one of the pins shortened (snipped off). As a result it would run at 100% all the time. Thankfully my original fan C was okay, so I just swapped it back. Fans seem to be close to original spec, aside from the cables being slightly longer, making it hard to put back the shroud (this is on a 1070TI Strix). There is a knockoff Asus ROG logo sticker on each of the fans, which doesn't quite match up with original logo, but close enough. Overall, decent replacement fans for older Strix cards. If your fans are wobbly, making scraping noises, or completely dead, this is pretty much the only way to go unless you plan on deshrouding. ... show more

  • Lasted about 2 weeks before this new one started making noises.
Color: Fan-C
GTX 1080 Strix (3 fan). original fan started squealing after a few years so I replaced it with this new fan which works great but started to make noise after 2 weeks - it does not make a squealing sounds but more of a vibration sound when it spins up - its only for about 3 seconds each time it spins up but its annoying when you have a totally silent case. I wonder if the card is breaking the fans or the fans are just not up to the task. ... show more

  • Ordering the right fan based on which fan broke.
Color: Fan-A
Does the job. Had a Asus 1080 strix card that had a fan that exploded. Asus would not replace under warranty. They said that replacing the fan myself would void my warranty which I found hilarious because they weren’t going to honor it anyways. They also wanted $300.00 USD for the repair plus shipping both ways. Took about 10 minutes to replace. Just make sure that you order the right fan as each of the three fans have different hookups depending on where the fan is positioned in the shroud. ... show more

  • Perfect for a Strix 1070
Color: Fan-A
Perfect for a Strix 1070. Fan looks identical to the original, runs well, ramps speed up and down as normal. After replacement I can't even tell it's not original. The screws were a little wider than the recessed area they're supposed to fit in, but it was easy to shave out a little extra plastic by hand with a drill bit. Not really an issue at all. This is also the same size fan as the Dual 1060 model, I think all the 10xx Asus models use this fan size. ... show more

  • Great replacement!
Color: Fan-A
Needed to replace a fan on my Asus Strix 1080 Ti OC graphics card. Apparently my M.2 drive holder had a screw poking up and the sinking card's fan blade was hitting it. Some how it's started spinning and broke off a fan blade. So I needed something to replace it. This did the trick and performs just like stock fan. ... show more
