Update review- 2 months in: Well i've added a star as this mattress has been a dream. I wake up without any back pain and the profoundly wonderful desire to stay in bed! I recommend this mattress folks. Will it last 10 yrs? We'll see, but so far I have been soooo pleased. First review: Though I Found this mattress to be Soooo comfortable! I am still uncertain about it's sustainable quality after 2 weeks. Hence the 4 star rating. I bought this with all my fingers and toes crossed; who ever heard of a decent mattress delivered in a roll for 300 bucks! Well I must say that it has been very comfortable for the last 14 nights. I had developing back pain from a S--ly Postur---ic hybrid mattress that lasted me 11 years. I wish my body type also lasted that long but weight gain changed significantly as I retired and the bed gave up it's life (289lbs-uugh). Would this cheapo hybrid standup ? SO FAR YES. It is deceptively soft and yet very supportive thus far. My back pain is lessening to almost nil. My sleep is far more restful and I wakeup feeling refreshed...I know, who'd a thunk it.! My biggest problem is getting my old mattress removed, a long story! So is it worth it? I have to agree with many reviews and say unequivocally yes. Even If I get 2-3 years worth I saved I think. Delivery and setup were awkward for this single 71 yo male but doable, my old box spring support it fine. It didn't attack me when opening as others have noted and I had to sleep on it 12 hrs after opening which seemed to be fine. There was no odor, no bugs, excellent quality as far as I can determine. So I do recommend if $ is a problem. In a few months before 101day return guarantee draws near I'll post an update. Happy mattress hunting UPDATE 1/4/'21:10 months in and nothing negative to say. Ir has become even more comfortable lf thats possible! One of those rare great purchases indeed.

Great mattress for the money!

Update 3/1/23. I purchased this in august 2022. I’m a heavier gal (250 lbs) and per the instructions have been turning the mattress every couple of months in an attempt to avoid indents…to no avail. The imprints aren’t terrible but they’re definitely there. The last couple of weeks I’ve been waking up stiff and sore and feeling like I had been to the gym the prior day, which I can assure you is NOT the case. So…I’m on the hunt for another mattress. I think this would be a great mattress for those that aren’t overweight I’m a self professed boujie gal. I like the finer things in life, and being comfortable is at the top of that list. Over the last decade I’ve been through many mattresses. I’m a heavy gal weighing in at 240lbs and my husband is also heavy. I purchased a Stearns & Foster at a whopping $2,800. It was lovely for the first couple of years then started breaking down to the point I slept on my couch the last year we owned it. I then purchased an $1,800 pillow top. That one made it 2 years before I couldn’t sleep in it. A year and a half ago I purchased an $1,800 hybrid. After 6 months it had such deep indents my husband couldn’t sleep in it and I woke up all night fighting to get out of my hole and get comfortable only to wake up aching all over. After having such horrible experiences I decided I didn’t have much to lose on a $500 and change mattress. If it makes it 6 months I’m ahead of the game. The mattress is delivered in a long box and left at your door. My son in law easily carried it in and helped me get it in the bed. The directions say to let it fully “open” for 48-72 hours. As soon as we cut the plastic it was at full “inflation”. I slept in it the first night after it sitting about 6 hours. It was still pretty hard and I hoped it would continue to fill out. The next morning I was mildly surprised, I had slept pretty well and didn’t wake up in a ton of pain. Night 2 I could tell it was a bit softer and by night 3 even more so. When I crawl in it, it doesn’t have the feel of the luxurious pillow top high end mattresses I’ve owned in the past. I don’t get that “oh this is wonderful” feeling. That said, I do fall asleep faster and am OUT quite fast, so much so that my work called me 20 minutes after I went to bed and I never heard my phone. Some have rated this a 6/10 firmness. I’d rate it more in the range of 7 or 8. Im a side sleeper and I have noticed my shoulder is a bit sore. I’ve ordered a 3” memory foam topper just to give it a bit more softness. Overall, so far I’m pretty happy with this mattress, especially at its price point. Even if it only lasts me 6 months I’m further ahead than buying the high end mattresses.

Perfect First Mattress-in-a-Box Experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was my first time buying a mattress in a box, and I was honestly a little worried because I had heard they can have a strong odor when you open them. I was pleasantly surprised that this one had absolutely no smell at all. It expanded very quickly and looks great. It’s comfortable, provides excellent support, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

We purchased this mattress for our 23 year old autistic son recently, as his old, chap mattress had become tired and worn out. His bedroom is quite small and so the Twin was our only option, though we did buy the Twin as the XL version so that he has a bit more length. He's just under 6 feet tall so the extra length suits him well, and since he tends to sleep mostly on his side the Twin does work fine. So we tore open the box and carefully opened the plastic using the included cutting tool, no problem there. We placed the mattress atop the bed frame which is a raised 14 inch platform which requires no box spring and then we allowed the new mattress to expand for about 8 hours before we went to sleep. Being that our boy is a night owl he probably didn't climb into his newly se-up bed for another 4 or 5 hours. When he woke up I asked him how he slept and he exclaimed "I slept GREAT!" so I knew that he loved it. The mattress then got the rest of the day to continue to expand. I have to admit to being a little freaked out at first. After getting the rolled up mattress out of the box we laid upon his bed frame while still in the plastic and it looked quite a bit wider than the bedframe. Don't let that panic you like it did us. As soon as it's out of the plastic and is expanding that extra width disappears and the end result is a fully corrected size mattress. We did not notice any sort of aroma emanating from the mattress short of BRAND NEW fragrance. It was just fine. There are NO handles on the sides for carrying but the mattress can be easily set on it's side and manipulated, especially easy if you have a helper. In a nutshell, it appears that this is a really nice hybrid mattress at a great price. It seem firm enough to offer support even for a "Husky" person yet it offers an excellent, very soft, comfortable top, almost like a pillow top, and the mattress seems to keep him cool while he's sleeping. We are very pleased with this purchase at this early stage and will add to this review as/if necessary.

Ordered this to replace a cheap thin worn out mattress in the semi. Absolutely LOVE!! It is very very firm. Best sleep. So much pain relief from crappy sinking in mushy mattresses- I do team drive too , so someone is constantly sleeping n keeping pressure on it & it is still super hard. If you don’t like firm or close to firm - i wouldn’t suggest. Also In a Peterbilt 579 UL. Bed fits perfectly - it is kinda high so idk how it’d fit in other semis .

Finally waking up without lower back pain.

Absolutely wonderful!!! I have had this mattress a couple of weeks now and my lower back pain has subsided. So far so good! Also I have an adjustable bed and it works great. I ordered the 12 in med firm twin XL mattress and it was the full 12 inches as soon as I rolled it out of the box. Still has good shape and I will keep you posted. So far the best purchase I’ve made for myself in a long time.

ETA (#2) 2/23/22: I am increasing my stars to 3 because their customer service has been very responsive. They reached out again, and although I'm past the risk free trial, they did refund me $100 to put towards a mattress topper. In my opinion, they weren't required to do anything at that point, so I will say that I'm appreciative of this. I still wouldn't recommend this mattress, the company, however, has been decent to work with. ETA 2/21/22: Contacted the company and while they were responsive, they were not helpful. Once I sent the photos they requested, their solution was to tell me to rotate the bed and sleep in a different position. Like, I'm supposed to just change how I sleep?? So much for their "guarantee" that the bed won't sag. I bought this mattress based on the excellent reviews. We replaced a 15 year old spring mattress that was giving us a lot of pain. When we initially got this, we were thrilled. All the pain was gone and the sleep was great. But after only 3 months of use, the bed is clearly showing signs of grooves where my husband and I sleep. You can see the grooves clearly in the photos and that's just after only 3 months!! I am now waking up with even more back and neck pain than I did with my 15 year old spring mattress. I'm only 130lbs and my husband is 180lbs so it's not like we're huge people that are causing the bed to become misshapen. I'm so disappointed. We are also just past the 101 day risk free trial (like, by just a few days). I just bought an extra firm mattress topper so hopefully that will help. But I would definitely not recommend this mattress to anyone.
