I waited a while to write a review. Because I really needed to see if it worked. I used it 4 times in total in 4 weeks. I feel very small in my legs, even at very little 9th level. I was able to reach level 7 in the bikini area. I also use level 9 under the armpit. I don't need to use it for 3 weeks. Some parts still have hairs that continue to grow, but that's my incompetence.

I have used an IPL from a major name brand in the hair removal industry that costs 3x the asking price of this little machine. It works, but I do whole body hair removal and after the first twenty minutes or so so much thermal energy has accumulated in the nozzle that presses against the skin it becomes painful to the touch and thus painful to use. I opted for the name brand over several other more generic competitors like this one for confidence reasons, and now I'm not sure I made the right choice. This handheld is missing many features I'd have liked to see, but has one gamechanging addition that sets it apart: a heat sink with a cold plate at the flashing surface. Shortly into the powered on state the skin-contacting surface surrounding the flashing window got cold to the touch, which is an excellent relief valve for thermal heat in long-sessions. There were a number of other "features" I wish were present though. For one, I don't see this device having a safety sensor preventing it from flashing unless the device is firmly in contact with skin on both sides of the flashing window. That prevents it from being possible to flash it in your face and minimizes light leakage from loose contact. This device doesn't have an automatic intensity adjuster. I would have liked to see it read skintone and adjust the power output to the most appropriate setting. I appreciated that this flasher could be used while plugged in. My other won't, and must be recharged prior to use. If it dies early, your job is done for a while. Though I did *not* appreciate a huge spark when I plugged the barrel jack in on the device-side. Even powered off, this was an unexpected electrical event indicating something suspicious about the charging circuit. I don't know if this is better or not. The cooling function definitely is a plus, but many of the other quality of life and safety features are absent that would turn me away toward a different product. Back on the first hand though, that cooling plate makes the job much more bearable after long duration and that's hard to pass up. Not sure if I'd recommend this or another product. Neutral.

I’m so glad that I brought this instead of wasting thousands of dollars at the salon, this works perfectly. You’ve got to make sure that you do it on level nine for it to actually have long last effects though!!

I have a pretty naturally hairy body due to genetics, I've been using this for a couple weeks and i've seen a reduction in my body hair. It stings a little but if you've had laser hair removal done at a clinic that hurts a lot more. Pretty comfortable overall and I see myself using this for a long time.

Considering the pricing at which it is offered, this functions quite well. I was amazed if this might get the same results at a much lower price because I have had expensive professional laser treatments that have cost hundreds of dollars. It obviously didn't, but it comes very close! The primary distinction is in its ability to facilitate more frequent treatments as opposed to larger, more rare, and stronger ones. Since this is more progressive than a one-shot every few months, it might be easier for those with more sensitive skin. One thing to keep in mind is to see if any topical medications you are taking may interfere with lasers.

i used it twice a week and saw a good result, but later, i saw i started getting acne on my face, which turns into a big one, and my face looks horrible on both sides, i got bad reaction after using laser machine, please be careful , now I set up appointment with skin specialist because without any antibiotics acne will not get away, I'm so disappointed

I've had a couple different Laser Hair Removal tools now and this one certainly holds its own amongst the best. It has multiple settings of intensity, so it's easy to find the right one for you. You can also start low and work your way up. The directions are clear and easy to understand and if this is your first laser hair removal tool, you should definitely read the directions. Using this incorrectly can inadvertently burn your skin (like a sun burn). As far at the tool itself goes, it is easy to hold and operate, the levels of intensity for the flash feel appropriate from my previous experience. The cooling aspect is a nice new feature. Even with the glasses provided you should NOT be looking at the area your are lasering when you pull the trigger. It's bright, protect your eyes by closing them and looking away. With these tools you have to be patient and understand it takes many sessions at home that are quick and easy to do and way less expensive than going to the salon. This is a great tool at a good price point. And will certainly get you on your way to getting rid of unwanted hair.
