This harness has the potential to be a good unit, but it has way too many flaws to recommend to anyone. First, like other reviewers have mentioned, the relay chatters (clicks) constantly when in use. Second as other reviewers pointed out, the relay is garbage and failed after the second use. Fortunately, it is a common size and easily replaced at Autozone. Be prepared though because a replacement relay cost more than the entire harness. Third, the harness needs to be longer; both the power leads and the leads going to the bulbs need to be extended by at least a foot. It might be fine it you drive a small car like a Honda Civic, but certainly nothing larger. I would recommend you buy a different harness because this one, even though it looks well made, will fail at the worst possible time leaving you with NO HEADLIGHTS! ... show more

    • Quality product /easy to install
This is a quality relay setup at a valuable price, I have two hid/relay systems lo/hi on my vehicle...seems all the negative reviews I can imagine are from installation errors or lack of electrical/relay knowledge.... I will say the ring terminals and fuse assembly are a little on the flimsy side, I would recommend replacing them with weather tight connections...using dielectric paste on connectors and having clean and tight grounds are very important. Have not had any issues with this harness or both of my innovated premium kits, works every single time without a doubt. ... show more

    • Works as advertised!
Installed on a 2012 Dodge Avenger had to use the relay harness in addition to the installation also purchased the anti flickering capacitors it is still unclear yet whether or not I need them at first without the relay once the engine on started turning off and on by themselves the relay seemed to fix the problem. Now the lights turn off individually if any source of electrical is activated in the car such as the horn or defroster. A simple flick on and off of the headlight switch seems to resolve the situation. Will install the capacitors and see if it fixes the issue. All in all the lights were a good deal for me since I'm on a budget... I had no issue with different color bulbs as did many of the review I read. The connectors are not the greatest quality although I had no problems with them and had to disconnect and reconnect multiple times due to reverse polarity on the 9006 plugs. I would definitely recommend these since they are bright in fact even though the lights are pointed down I still get flashed by oncoming traffic occasionally. Will update later once the capacitors are installed. ... show more

    • Works okay
The media could not be loaded. Pros: affordable, easy to install Cons: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have checked the wiring and the harness has been properly installed. Harness doesn't work consistently. I give it 3.5 stars since the headlight needs to be switched on and off to get DDM Tuning HID kit to work. Hopefully it get better and not break down Update: the harness works less than 50% of the time. I have to turn on and off headlights and engine to get both hid headlights to work. I have uninstalled and returned this product ... show more

    • Not the fix for flicking headlights I had hoped for
I bought this because after I installed the Innovited 35W HID light, I found they flickered when they were on AUTO (but not activated to on) or turned off with the car in gear. A quick search of their help page showed the daytime running lights were sending low voltage (about 10 volts) to the ballasts, causing the flicker. The fix was supposed to be this relay kit.... Bought and installed the kit, which was as simple as it comes and seems well made. BUT! now the relay in the harness kit just chatters from the same lower voltage and causes the light to still flicker..... so for me the kit was useless. Maybe the relay should close properly at 10 volts, but mine does not.... The simple fix as it turns out is to just cover the light sensor for the auto head lights and leave the switch in auto. Now they come on always.... which is what this harness kit would do if it worked. Wish I would have realized that before buying this ... show more

    • Garbage - stay away
The product itself feels flimsy. The relay is not designed for cold climates and fails to function after a few hours of exposure. Further still this is the second one and it blew the inline fuse again - cheaply made trash. This time the fuse for the drivers side headlight blew too. Grounds are known to be good on the lighting system as well as the battery. I sent the electrical output to innovited and they have no answer. Innovited themselves have been decent to work with but the products leave something to be desired. ... show more

    • Loose POS/NEG leads out the box... mediocre quality
Easy as hell to install...but here's the catch...I'm on my second harness because of the quality of the make to female connectors leading to my ballasts. First harness...On both ballasts point of connections, you can see the wiring harness leads are simply loose and sometimes moves freely...definetly shoddy at best. The leads become so loose in the terminals that you can pull them out without any effort....And I noticed the connection being lost sometimes with simple bumps in the road. If you tap the connections at the terminal leads they may oray not seat back normal. I don't know why they come out the box loose like that but I'm gonna give it another shot. Tighten up the quality of seating the negative and positive leads in their respective terminals and this product will be five stars for sure! Until it's a roll of the dice. ... show more

    • Finally got rid of my driver's side not turning on half the time. 2015 Sonata Hybrid
2015 Sonata Hybrid, after 5 months of having issues with driver's side not turning on most of the times, specially in cold weather I finally found this, I had replaced the ballast 3 times and bulb who knows how many times. This solved my issues, I can't believe this isn't a more common knowledge, so many threads on the internet about lights not turning on. At first it did not work, I hooked up the red wire to positive and black to negative, and lights would not turn on but I could hear the relay clicking. After 45 mins I placed the ground directly to the chassis and that was my bingo moment. Now my lights work 100% of the time!! Great product. ... show more
