I LOVE these socks! They're super soft, the thickness is perfect (not *thick*, but thick enough to feel cushiony) and they hug my feet wonderfully (not *tight*, but huggy with no slippage around the foot or ankle). For reference, I wear a women's 5 1/2 - 6 shoe and the Small size of these socks fits me perfectly. I've also found the wicking to be very good. I have sweaty feet, which is especially bad in the winter because it causes my feet to feel cold all the time. These socks do a nice job of preventing the moisture build up that leads to cold feet. These socks are great for hiking or just keeping your feet warm and cozy. I think the fit offers good compression (not too strong, but I can feel it). I wore them hiking two days in glacier national park and they were perfect. The wool helps the socks stay dryer. The colors are fun and interesting. These are very similar to my light weight darn tough socks- which are $25 a pair! So far I really like them. Very comfy, with just enough cushion but not too thick for hot weather hiking.
