I had this in my cart for a while and it kept going out of stock, so when it came back available I ordered it immediately. In person it looks much more expensive than it is, and I absolutely love it. My only gripe is that I wish the headboard was a little taller, but otherwise the quality is great and the burnt black is beautiful. It was also really easy to put together with all the pieces labeled and easy to follow instructions. So far, there is no squeaking or creaking and this bed seems pretty sturdy. The wood grain and paint look awesome. Some black painted furniture can look cheap, but this has a great texture. I like that it is solid wood, not particle board and veneer. This bed is very well made. Sturdy and beautiful. I’ve had my eye on the Article Lenia bed for a long time but I couldn’t justify $1000. This bed is a fabulous dupe. I recommend getting someone to help you build the headboard as it is a little tricky to line everything up.
