This is the first pen style I’ve tried so I have nothing else to compare it with. I run around 7v and have had no issues with the strength or performance. For the price it’s an excellent starter pen. Handles lining and shading fairly well. I do recommend wrapping it with self adhesive tape to make the grip a little thicker, as is controlling your line work is a bit more challenging without it.
