This is the first mounted light i've owned. I love this design and this light seems to perform flawlessly. The two paddles are in the perfect spot and operate smoothly. This is a nice sleek little light that does not protrude past the muzzle which is one of the main reasons I purchased it. The light is very bright with a large halo around the room and a focused beam in the middle. I love that the battery is able to be changed while the light stays mounted. Overall, I would buy more of these if needed for other platforms. I watched a great video before buying that put this light through a very rough torture test and it held up great. Bought this for my Sig P229 enhance Elite and fits perfectly. The control paddles are long enough to turn it on and off with out me needing to readjust or break my grip and they are not in the way for the finger placement on the trigger even with gloves. I would buy one more for my Cz p01 Omega.

Amazing light for the money with a great look and intuitive on/off paddles that don't compromise your firing grip. The light uses a cr123 battery and comes with 1913 and a universal mount. My Glock19 needed the universal mount (included) installed. The 500 lumen light makes it an awesome light for the home, it really lights up a room giving you great visibility. I was looking for something a little more compact than a streamlight and not as expensive as a surefire. The aluminum case is a step up from the previous model and is still incredibly light (slightly under 7 ounces). Light is 500 lumen with a decent flood and beam. Installation is simple, it comes with two extra mounting plates that let you customize where the light sits on your rail. For example, if you have the G19 you will install the "universal" plate that allows the light to sit further back on the rail making the switches accessible. Product boasts 2 hours of run time with the 123A battery, I feel like this is pretty standard with a single 123 but I'll update this review if I find any discrepancies. I really liked the ease of operation on this light. I bought this for my sig 365XL with the TD rail. It fit great no issues at the range. However, I bought the Icarus evo grip,which feels amazing BUT this light wouldn't fit properly. The included pic adapter would have worked if I could flip it around. I just attached it to the rail and after 50 rounds it was sliding off. So it's not really the light or the grips faults. As I said I really liked this light and it worked great with the TD rail. I ended up giving it to my dad. I will probably get another for one of my CZs. ... show more

While this light fit well and gave it a sleek look it just didn't feel right, feels cheap. The paddles, while huge and easy to manipulate, just seemed flimsy. To me it is the weak point of the light and I could not trust something that I feel has a weak point with my life. For a range toy, it's fine. For duty/self defense, look elsewhere. ... show more
