Supposedly you just step on at the thing and just pump pump pump and whoosh she’s done- nope. Inflating the mattress wasn't too hard, took about 10 minutes. The instructions are accurate, but don't give enough information on the valves for deflating the mattress. Once I figured them out it worked well.

I purchased this mattress for camping, I have a truck bed tent, so this lays in the bed of my truck on top of the tent, bottom, but filling this thing was a haul DIFFERENT World of Frustration! I sat in a chair, and used my feet to pump, and pump, AND PUMP, until my Legs were literally on FIRE, so I moved it over to a picnic table and started pumping with my hands and arms, and pumped, and pumped AND PUMPED, and I’m telling you it wore me OUT! I’m no “Spring Chicken”, 66 yrs old, and this thing absolutely WORE ME OUT! My legs and arms were SO sore afterwards I didn’t want to do anything else! I had to pump awhile and take a break…..pump some more, take another break! 2 HOURS I did this, and Trust me, will NEVER EVER Do it again! I gave it away and got one with an “Electric pump”! Man oh MAN, it REALLY took it out of me! But it WAS comfortable, and didn’t lost any air, but when your finished pumping this Beast up, your gonna need to LAY IN IT! LOL……I would NOT Suggest it for older folks, or weaklings! It’ll Kick your A$$! Believe me! ... show more

Update: Used it to sleep indoors on a wood floor. It was super comfortable even for someone who weighs around 200 lbs. Easy to inflate with foot or hand. Really comfortable since it’s pretty thick when it’s inflated all the way. Quality seems good. Integrated pillow works nice. It’s long and will work for my husband who is 6’ 4”. We’ve only tested this indoors and it felt good laying on back and side. It was easy to inflate, deflate, and fold back up into the carrying bag. ... show more
