I recently purchased this inflatable seat to help convert my paddleboard to a comfortable kayak. It's not fault of the manufacturer, but I forgot that my paddleboard doesn't have D-rings on the side rails, only on the very back for a leash and on the front for storage of items. You really need a set of four rings (two at the edge of seat and two forward to adjust the tension of the backrest) closer to or on the side rails to achieve the ideal fit for this seat. If you are someone who typically walks or stands on the side rails, you will have to take placement of your rings into consideration if you board doesn't come with any suitable options. This oversight isn't any fault of the manufacturer. The seat appears well made, from a similar weigh of vinyl as my Tower board. There isn't any Velcro or anything on the bottom that could damage the finish of my standing area. The only thing I could t easily find (there aren't any included instructions) as a recommendation on the appropriate PSI to inflate the seat to. I set it high and then kind of watched what was happening, but it appears it is better suited for an air mattress PSI of 0.4 than a paddleboard PSI of 15. Use caution as to not overinflate and damage the seams. Once I can install the additional rings, I think this will work very well for its intended purpose. I recently had a hip replaced so standing for long paddleboarding sessions isn't as easy as it used to be. I also often paddleboard with people not as confident on the water who like to sit or kneel, and I think having this seat as an option would make the experience more enjoyable for them. I tried out the inflated seat portion and it seems comfortable and well made. It is also a nice touch that it stores essentially flat. Considering paddleboards and their accessories are typically a bit of an investment, the price of this item is very reasonable. The last thing to point out is kayak paddles are double sided and paddleboard paddles only have one fin in the water. So if you really want to kayak you will need a different oar. Or you can treat this more like a canoe.

Wasnt too sure how this would work out but, it worked perfectly. Quick to inflate, pretty comfortable for adults and kids alike. Easy install with just 4 straps 2 of which are for the back and can be adjusted to your comfort angle. I found it a bit on the higher end for the price but, the quality is not lacking.

I already own the name-brand version of this kayak seat and honestly, this one works just as well. The design, comfort, and features are basically the same, and I couldn’t tell much of a difference once I was on the water. I’ve been using it on my inflatable SUP out on Lake Conroe, and it’s made my paddling sessions way more comfortable. It inflates super fast (about a minute) and the cushion feels great. That bit of extra support on the lower back really helps when I’m out there for a while. I like how the straps are easy to adjust, and once you set it, it doesn’t slip or move around thanks to the hook and loop tape on the bottom. The back support is solid. I don’t get that tired back feeling anymore after paddling for an hour or more. Also, the material feels durable, and the buckles seem like they’ll last even in water. I haven’t tested it in rougher conditions yet, but so far it’s holding up just fine in the lake. It doesn’t come with an air pump, but I already have one, so that’s not a big deal. If anything changes after more use, I’ll update this review. This product was provided through the Amazon Vine program. While it may be subject to taxation, it was not received as a free gift. I share reviews in batches, so timing should not be interpreted as coordinated. My feedback is independent and honest.

The media could not be loaded. Please watch my video review. This inflatable kayak seat looks like it was designed primarily for converting a stand-up paddle board to a seated kayak position. The seat itself is constructed with drop stitch style, much like a paddle board. Materials and construction are very robust for the inflatable. The seat back is polyester and bonded to the inflatable seat but it does fold a little bit at the junction point when leaning backwards hard. The anchor point straps allow a small amount of forward/ back positioning of the seat which is important in getting your center of gravity in the center of the board. Having the raised inflated seat portion allows you to bend your knees in a more comfortable position. If you can build a foot brace using a strap and a pool noodle, I highly suggest it. Being able to push against the seat gives the back stability and support. I tried this in my Hobie kayak and the seat was just too large to fit. But it might fit in some of the larger kayaks that are designed for fishing. I wish it had a cord or strap that held the back piece up because as soon as you get out of the seat the back folds down which makes it difficult to sit back down without fiddling with the back.

Great quality, blows up very quickly! It is the same air plug setup as blow up paddle boards so works perfectly with the same air pump you'd use for your paddle board. You must have D rings on your paddle board deck in order to install this. It loops through those to affix on to the board. It is made of the same material as paddle boards so it is sturdy and will not crush and deflate by the end of your trip. Sits snugly right in the center of the board. Wish the straps were a little longer so you could have more range of where the seat is positioned. The black part that sits against your back is not removable like one of the pictures suggests and has a zippered pocket in the back to store things. The back portion doesn't stand up on its own, when you sit back into it, it pulls it taught so sits you up pretty upright. I can't lean back in it. Overall, comfortable, secure and well made!
