I only got to use it once and then the weather turned but I used it on my paddle board. It worked fine. There was no instruction on how high pump it up so I just set it at 3 lb and that was plenty. It's pretty comfortable as far as an inflatable seat goes

I recently purchased this inflatable seat to help convert my paddleboard to a comfortable kayak. It's not fault of the manufacturer, but I forgot that my paddleboard doesn't have D-rings on the side rails, only on the very back for a leash and on the front for storage of items. You really need a set of four rings (two at the edge of seat and two forward to adjust the tension of the backrest) closer to or on the side rails to achieve the ideal fit for this seat. If you are someone who typically walks or stands on the side rails, you will have to take placement of your rings into consideration if you board doesn't come with any suitable options. This oversight isn't any fault of the manufacturer. The seat appears well made, from a similar weigh of vinyl as my Tower board. There isn't any Velcro or anything on the bottom that could damage the finish of my standing area. The only thing I could t easily find (there aren't any included instructions) as a recommendation on the appropriate PSI to inflate the seat to. I set it high and then kind of watched what was happening, but it appears it is better suited for an air mattress PSI of 0.4 than a paddleboard PSI of 15. Use caution as to not overinflate and damage the seams. Once I can install the additional rings, I think this will work very well for its intended purpose. I recently had a hip replaced so standing for long paddleboarding sessions isn't as easy as it used to be. I also often paddleboard with people not as confident on the water who like to sit or kneel, and I think having this seat as an option would make the experience more enjoyable for them. I tried out the inflated seat portion and it seems comfortable and well made. It is also a nice touch that it stores essentially flat. Considering paddleboards and their accessories are typically a bit of an investment, the price of this item is very reasonable. The last thing to point out is kayak paddles are double sided and paddleboard paddles only have one fin in the water. So if you really want to kayak you will need a different oar. Or you can treat this more like a canoe.

Seat is comfortable enough but the attachment system doesn't work with all paddleboards. If you don't have one with D rings in the right place the seatback is basically useless. Quality is mid.

Good kayak seat for replacing or retrofitting to an existing boat. I feel this is much more suitable for a SUP than most kayaks, so my review is a bit mixed on this. I'm not a huge fan of the strapping options, I think I would have preferred a more simple cam or other buckle setup with independent straps. This works but it's a bit of a combination of an attempt at simplicity and yet overengineered at the same time. You need anchor points in somewhat specific locations and then still have to more or less correctly weave the straps into the correct places to get it to function properly. This may be a benefit in some situations but seems overly cumbersome based on my experimenting with it on both sup's and kayaks. But otherwise the seat is acceptably comfortable for what it is, and does give enough versatility that it can be used on different boats. I would definitely figure out how this best attaches to your specific sup or kayak before you're out on the water, for some boats, it's likely going to require adding glue on or bolt on points to anchor the straps to.

I already own the name-brand version of this kayak seat and honestly, this one works just as well. The design, comfort, and features are basically the same, and I couldn’t tell much of a difference once I was on the water. I’ve been using it on my inflatable SUP out on Lake Conroe, and it’s made my paddling sessions way more comfortable. It inflates super fast (about a minute) and the cushion feels great. That bit of extra support on the lower back really helps when I’m out there for a while. I like how the straps are easy to adjust, and once you set it, it doesn’t slip or move around thanks to the hook and loop tape on the bottom. The back support is solid. I don’t get that tired back feeling anymore after paddling for an hour or more. Also, the material feels durable, and the buckles seem like they’ll last even in water. I haven’t tested it in rougher conditions yet, but so far it’s holding up just fine in the lake. It doesn’t come with an air pump, but I already have one, so that’s not a big deal. If anything changes after more use, I’ll update this review. This product was provided through the Amazon Vine program. While it may be subject to taxation, it was not received as a free gift. I share reviews in batches, so timing should not be interpreted as coordinated. My feedback is independent and honest.

The Atpross kayak seat is exactly what I needed! It’s comfortable, and super easy to install — It was inflated and clipped on in just a few minutes. I like that you can adjust the angle of the backrest, making long paddles more comfortable. It’s a game changer for my paddleboard — it instantly transforms it into a kayak with no hassle. When I’m done, it’s lightweight and easy to store, taking up hardly any space. Highly recommend this seat for anyone looking to add versatility and comfort to their SUP … just be sure to double check the location of your D rings / anchors on your current board otherwise it may not fit or sit at the correct angle for you! Compared to other detachable kayak seats, it’s a pretty reasonable price.
