I love love love this phone! The value for price is unbeatable. Although it has no internet capabilities it is surprisingly feature filled without any of the bloat and BS of smartphones. The speaker is powerful and crisp. The phone supports micro SD up to 128 GB for photos, music, etc. and has slots for 2 SIM cards so you could potentially have two active numbers in one device. I could see that being very useful if you often travel internationally. The screen is large, buttons are backlit and very responsive. In general, it feels very nice to hold and is organized in an intuitive way. The default setting for texting and character-entry is "T9" (hitting the button containing the letter you want once and letting it 'predict' what you're trying to spell) but you can change this by hitting the pound key while in the text field and selecting "Abc" or "abc" to type the word letter by letter. The music/media player on the phone is really nice and it will even display album art from the metadata of files. I wasn't expecting this, but the phone came the battery pre-installed in the device plus an additional battery. With this, you can keep the device going for a long time in the event of blackout. Currently, I am testing the phone using a Mint SIM, so I can confirm that Mint Mobile service is compatible on this device. Texting and calling works like a dream, but MMS is a little bit hit or miss. It struggles with larger file sizes. This next thing is a bit unconventional, but if you prefer a little more customization in the appearance of the external casing of the phone, I painted mine with green glowing paint for more visibility at night. The texture of the case plastic accepts paint easily and I haven't noticed any chipping or flaking. There are holes for a phone strap at the bottom corner. One of my only criticisms of the phone is that the metal clips that hold the SIM and SD card in place are temperamental and you may struggle with them a little bit before finally getting them to latch/unlatch properly. This phone is a rockstar and the perfect "dumb phone" ! A++++++ I think everyone should have one of these at least as a backup/emergency phone.

I have been looking for months for a phone to replace my landline. I have tried several that were very poorly made, with little to not instructions and lacking a normal intuitive setup. I finally found this phone. It works with a very inexpensive Tello plan. I purchased the Tello SIM card for peanuts on Amazon. The instructions due recommend connecting the SIM card via another phone. Well, I guess the other cheap phones I ordered helped at least get the SIM card connected to the Tello network. Tello and this phone works with T-Mobile only. That is important to know. So, do not purchase this phone for any other cell phone provider as the networks do not communicate. This phone is very sturdy. It comes with clear instructions and intuitive for cell phone uses to setup in my experience. I have not tried to call using it yet. I transferred my landline number to this cellphone easily. I needed to get my account number and a pin from my landline company. The account number is different than the ones on my bill. I used Tello online and it walked me through easily and quickly. I am very happy with this phone. It is worth the price which is very low compared to other cheaply made phones. Again, I am thrilled with how sturdy the phone is. It also has double waterproof protection. If one wants to have more than 1 phone number attached to the phone for example personal use and business use there are 3 SIM card slots to do so. I recommend this phone very much!

I've had this phone for a day and it is perfect for what I need. It does calls and texts, and I can connect it via Bluetooth to my earbuds and listen to music while i'm mowing. I can also confirm that it does work with Helium, an MVNO that operates of off T-Mobile's towers.

Where do I start? Hours spent with Tmobile because after I put in the sim from an old phone I’ve used for 5 years on Tmobile but this AGM phone would every week ask for a PUK Code 17441307 or 19367037 ..Why? No one could figure it out but my disabled relative would stop calling and the phone weekly would ask for that code, over and over and over again but only once a week. Having a relative with a disability that stops calling because they could no longer unlock the phone was maddening. Maybe the phone was defective but I had to replace it with another phone. Tmobile said it was the phone and now that the phone was replaced, I tend to believe it was defective. Buyer beware...

The phone quality seemed good and that it would be pretty durable. I wish it would've worked for me. The issues I had were that the volume was not very loud at max volume or on speaker. The battery life was also disappointing, roughly drained half with off and on 30 minutes of talking. Which leads to the next issue. The phone would consistently drop calls and not get much signal in areas that I know other phones I have owned do, so unfortunately I can't use it. I do not live in a rural area either. It's a shame.

This is a decent basic phone. I got it for my 90-yr-old mother who needed something simpler. Unfortunately this was not quite simple enough for her to operate, and she has gone back to her old iPhone. Texting using T9 keys is beyond her (and maybe me too TBH), as well as the sequences of keystrokes required to read a text, look up someone’s number, and complete a call. And I tried but was unsuccessful at importing her contacts via a Bluetooth connection.

I honestly LOVE this phone! For anyone looking for a "dumb" phone that focuses solely on calling and texting, this is the one! It does everything I need it to do and doesn't have any useless preloaded apps. The build quality is truly excellent, and I can tell that a lot of care and precision has gone into the design. The buttons feel so great to press and are very precise. The software is intuitive and well thought out. Most importantly, it has great reception for texting and calling on the Ting network (which uses Tmobile). On occasion there are a few areas where the menus are a bit convoluted, but I don't mind. Some specific things I really like about this phone: you can choose between predictive text or regular old school texting, which I prefer; you can customize the screen lock so it only activates when pressing the "end call" button; you can longpress the zero key to turn on the flashlight; you can plug it into your PC and add custom ringtones; you can customize the function of the left and right buttons; you can also set specific times for it to automatically power on and off, which extends battery life. On a full charge so far I have had it on for five days and it still has three of five bars left on the battery icon. Some people have complained about the camera, but I found it to be entirely adequate. Sure, it won't take the best pictures in the world, but it gets the job done when it needs to, which for me is what matters most. In terms of size it's perhaps slightly larger than I would prefer, but that also makes the buttons easier to press, so I don't mind. The last feature phone I had was the ZTE Cymbal U, and this AGM M9 puts that to shame. THIS IS A TRULY EXCELLENT PHONE!!
