  • Work great!
I bought these because I couldn't carry our Bris 11ft inflatable catamaran dinghy to the launch ramp by my self. As others have said: no instructions included :( As others have said, part deux: just search "how to install transom wheels on my inflatable boat" and there are plenty of great instructional vids on YouTube :) Took the Bris out yesterday and the transom wheels made launching a breeze. Wheels were Easy on/ easy off (though you can just flip them up once boat is in the water and go, if you so choose). Game changer for getting me and my trophy wife out on the water. ... show more

  • Might work for you, might have to modify (a lot)
Seemingly good construction, made of quality materials. Received two stars because there are two major design flaws that I overlooked when purchasing this product. I’ve owned two inflatable RIB boats in the past (10’ and 12’) which I rigged with similar launch wheels. Made a great dolly, taking a lot of stress off your back. Buying these for my new 10’ boat, I thought having extra clearance and big tires would be an advantage, opening up opportunities to fish areas I wouldn’t otherwise try. Huge mistake.. the length of the legs (holding the wheels) are far too long. (My transom is 17”, which is small, but I imagine it would be relatively close in size to most of you guys out there). Once you mount the wheels and put them down (to transport the boat), the back of the boat is off the ground by about a foot. This displaces nearly all of the weight forward toward the lifting point. The result is you picking up 60-70% of your boats weight with one hand. If you have an inflatable with a air deck, or removable deck, it probably won’t be a problem. If you own a fiberglass dinghy, trust me this is not for you. Another reason why this sucks for fiberglass transoms, is there is usually a lip on the top of the transom. If yours has that, you will need riser plates for the mounting brackets to clear that lip (when folding the tires upright). I bought a two dollar cutting board and cut it to size to use as a spacer. Works pretty well actually... On to the next design flaw I overlooked— the tire size. I thought the big tires would be good, but it never occurred to me that once I want to retrieve my boat, I will need to try and force these huge balloons under the boat with my engine in the way. I haven’t tried yet, but I’m almost positive that I would have to get in the water, spin the boat around, connect the tires, spin it back around, then lead it up the boat ramp. Not opposed, but seems clunky. Honestly I wanted to return the item, but I already drilled holes in my boat and siliconed the bolts. Would hate to buy a different set and then drill more holes. I’m kind of stuck with them now. To solve the weight issue, I will saw some of the length off the legs and re drill the placement for the bolt (that holds on the tire). This should move the fulcrum point and make it easier to lift. Another thing I will do is replace the tires with my old kayak cart tires. This should also help with the back end lift, as well as solve the boat retrieve process. Such a disaster, but I will make it work. Do your research fellas!! Pictures posted (of problem only, haven’t cut them down to solve issue yet.. once I do, I’ll reupload more photos). ... show more

The fact that they ship these with NO instructions is pretty bad. But they sent lock pins that don't allow the pivoting strut to seat fully into the bracket so that they can be locked by the other pins (in either a fully up or fully down position - which is the whole point). One set of wrap around pins might be OK, but the pins that secure the wheel strut having a wrap around pin makes the entire set useless. I'll need to go buy the proper locking pins in order to make this work. Not cool. Otherwise, this seems like a decent quality set. These might have to go back. UPDATE: I contacted both the manufacturer and the seller about the clevis pin problem and the seller immediately replied and said they'd ship the proper pins. To my amazement they were shipped from China and arrived at my door in just two days. That's impressive customer service and they really need to be commended for that. I've changed my rating from 2 to 4 stars (no instructions is still pretty odd, but not the seller's fault). ... show more

  • Great quality, easy to install. Once caveat, though.
No complaints about quality or ease of installation. Very nice. Tremendous for moving my 200 pound boat/motor combination around. Even easier with the 120 pound boat with no motor and no gear. The only real complaint is that it's tough to sink the oversized inflatable wheels when launching and retrieving my boat . Not so much a complaint as an observation that I need to get my feet wet. I was hoping to raise and lower the wheels over the transom from inside the boat, especially in cold weather. But lowering them pretty much requires getting wet, unless I pull the boat all the way out of the water before lowering the wheels. Not so bad on sand or grass, but it's rough on the painted aluminum hull dragging it out over a concrete ramp. Still, I highly recommend these excellent quality and very sturdy wheels. Just be aware, and bring some waders if you go out fishing in the middle of winter. ... show more

  • Not super awesome
Get the adjustable designed ones. These work but I ended up taking them off and buying a trailer for my boat the wheels just didn't work that well

  • Quite sturdy
Arrived fast, very well packaged. Good materials and built quality. No instructions, but can be found in similar products (that cost x2 much). See attached pics for proper assembly.

  • Very happy with these wheels
I’m very happy with these wheels, even though the are large for my little inflatable. They are easy to install, easy to air up, and maintain air pressure well.
