These guys are the best sounding speakers in the car audio business today. Not too bright, great mids and strong bass thanks to an oversize woofer cone. Superb build quality. Unfortunately did not fit my Porsche 996 Turbo because the woofer was touching the adapters from super_paulie UK.

    • Works w/ 2016 Lexus RX Base System Dash Speakers
I installed these on my 2016 Lexus RX to replace the factory speakers on the dashboard. The difference really is night and day. I can hear vocals so much clearer. I’m happy with the speakers. I did have to modify them to fit by cutting off the parallel mounting tabs on the speaker itself.

Fit into an 88 Toyota with minor modification. Mounting tabs need to be bent to fit in the stock location, other than that they fit great. Sound is better than expected from a 4” speaker. Poor bass response but that’s typical of smaller cone speakers.

    • Good midrange speakers missing some basic accessories
I bought these to replace the dashboard speakers in my 1983 Mercedes 240d. They ended up fitting well with no modifications and the sound quality is pretty good. The bass is lacking but for such a small speaker it’s perfectly acceptable. My main grip however is you get the speakers, some foam, and stickers in the box. Thats it. No screws and no cables. These speakers use dinky little spade connectors like most car audio and I didn’t have the correct connectors on hand so I had to improvise. They also do not include any trim rings, so these are designed to go behind stock grills I guess. If you’re planning to replace your original speakers in their original locations these are a good option, but just remember to order the correct terminals when you order the speakers. ... show more
