The Conair InfinitiPro Frizz Free 1.5" Hot Air Brush is a great drying styling tool! I love the size of the barrel. It is small enough to give my hair a little volume without making my hair completely straight. I have another hot air brush that is the normal 3" barrel and I use that one when my hair is a little longer, but the 1.5" barrel on this Conair InfinitiPro Frizz Free Hot Air Brush is perfect for when I wear my hair a little shorter. Despite having curly hair, this styling tool quickly straightens my hair to be soft and manageable. My hair stays perfectly straight until the next wash & style. The power is awesome on this tool. It doesn't get scorching hot either, which is key for me. This tool is easier to hold as the diameter is a bit smaller than the bulky regular size hot air brush. With my arthritis hands, that is a blessing.

bought this hot air brush under another brand name in 2019 and loved it! one too many tugs on the cord by curious cats, finally brought it to it's end landing on stone tile. I ordered this one in January (2025) and the only difference is color/brand ... all the things I loved about it are the same. the bristles on the brush give my hair a good stretch (necessary to reduce frizz) without pulling too hard, and don't scratch the scalp. I tried other brushes with stiff plastic bristles and they were horrible to use, especially on my protein bond extensions. this brush has a combination of flexible bristles in different lengths that are forgiving on the bonds. the brush has high & low heat options, as well as a cool setting. the free end of the hot air brush can get a little hot on the high setting, but isn't injury level hot. I have found that this hot air brush, paired with a heat protecting spray, does less damage than a straight iron, and leaves my hair with more volume.

I actually have used this drying brush for about ten years now. This is probably the 4th one I have owned. I have never had one go out on me. I finally just get a new one because I use so much hair product that I get tired of cleaning off the bristles. The reason I gave it four stars this time, is that it pulled my hair just a little. I've never had one do that before. There's probably just a little catch somewhere.. I do love this product. It makes my life so much easier!

Let it warm up first for a few minutes so it can be warm when you apply it. Is it the most powerful? No, but still has power. Is it extremely hot? No. Does it work on thick hair? Yes. More on that later. This blowdry brush is actually very good and lives up to it's title. Less frizz because it's not burning your hair, and it does style quite well. I normally let it warm up for a few minutes while I divide my hair to style. That being said, you WILL have to take your time with it to achieve a wonderful blowout. Especially if you have thick/wavy/curly hair. This is the price of damage free styling. I also normally do my hair at night and put it in a heatless curl style to preserve my blow out. Time invested into your inner/outer beauty is not time wasted.

I have bought this unit twice - the first time in Feb 2024, and it worked great for about 2-3 weeks, then the motor/blower all of a sudden slowed down to a crawl, and I noticed a slight burnt smell. I turned the unit off and on several times, but it was barely running. So, I requested a return through ConAir, as was the policy on Amazon. I sent Conair all of the information they requested (including a photo showing the unit with the cord cut, and my invoice from Amazon). They stated in the confirmation email "Please allow 10 days for your new item to arrive due to temporarily longer than usual shipping times." ... WELL as of 6/20/24, I still hadn't received my replacement unit. So, I resent everything to Conair on 6/20 that they needed to process the return, told them I never received my unit following my initial request on 4/9. As of today, 7/8/24, I have still not received my replacement unit! So, I resent the information to them AGAIN today, reiterating the non-response since April, but I don't have faith that I'll ever receive it. NOT GOOD!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! PLEASE NOTE: I purchased a second unit at the same time that I submitted the return request (in April 2024) because I wanted to have a backup unit, and that one has worked well, so far, as of today (7/8/24).

You can see in the pictures my hair curley and straight. My hair is somewhat fine, but I have a good/medium amount. I section when I blow dry and straighten no matter what I use. Not as heavy as I thought. Pretty light if you’re used to a blow dryer. Not completely frizz free without product. Easy to use. Small learning curve from your blow dryer. Awesome for touch ups. And budget friendly. Update: I like this more than I thought I would. I went on a roadtrip with it and it’s been amazing! I’m not going to pretend it’s the best on the market. I haven’t tried those, but this one is bang for your buck. Remember that a lot of your outcomes depends on your pre blow dry routine and your technique—same as with a round brush and blow dryer. I use chi blow heat protector spray. I use big sexy spray or mouse for volume. I blow dry out instead of down for volume. I hold at the roots for root lift and go down from there. I go down to the very tip of the ends to not have ends that are too rounded for my taste. And I use a finishing serum for shine and to make my ends look super healthy since they are damaged from bleach. I did have great blow drying technique from the morning in a salon, but the learning curve on this is easier IMO.
