Not nearly what I had in mind. I guess I should’ve dug deeper and read on the product better. It’s really not terrible, now that my daughter is 4 months old and has pretty good control of her head and neck. But as a “newborn” insert, must be made for a 20 pound newborn, cause it didn’t quite work for my 7 pound one. We had it in her seat and still had to roll up a blanket to rainbow around her head to keep her from bouncing all over the place.

This is a good value for what you get, it also is compatible with a multitude of car seats which is nice. It's easy to install and works well for different colors. Overall great if you want to offer more cushion.

This baby carrier seat insert has enough padding for good head support and feels comfortable and soft. Design and the color gray is simple and gender neutral. Fits well and easy to install. Nicely packaged if you want to get it as a gift, too.

IS NOT compatible with Doona car seat for an infant. Super soft and nice material though but don't get for the doona infant insert.

This Kenkyo baby car seat head support is a nice addition to a car seat or stroller. It has a soft velour top for comfort and tiny rubberized buttons on the back to grip the seat. There is a cutout in the center for the harness buckle and slots along the sides at shoulder height for the straps. The padding is thickest on the seat, back, head and side of the head areas, slightly thinner on the sides of the seat and back.
