Wow these rope lights are amazing! I was looking for lights like these with all the animations and not just the standard change colors and flashes. They have a ton of preloaded cool animation options to choose from! It comes with a remote and it has an app where you can totally customize the light colors and animations. It’s really intuitive. I’m very surprised by the quality and options! 1000 percent recommend. I do wish they had a longer set of 32 feet, but I bought 2 and put them next to each other and it works really well. I bought this brand of LED rope lights 3 years ago and they were Excellenta. They were super bright, flexible, and seamless. The light was diffused making it look like a real neon glass tube light. Unfortunately now this product is a just crappy Segmented LED light rope covered in a silicone sheath. Pretty good, pretty flexible. Looks nice in pictures, in person, it is definitely duller. Brightness is… okay, but the remote includes lots of options and comes with an app. Easy install. Overall not the worst for its price. Will probably buy again.

Honestly one of the best LED purchases I've made on Amazon. The lights are so bright for a USB style connection and the brackets they give you are quality. Happy I got these despite the "frequently returned" status they have on Amazon. Worth it!

    • Rope lights awesome but remotes stink.

For the lights themselves, I’d give it a 5. Love the different colors and movements. Problem is, the remotes don’t really work. I have to push a button like 50 times for it to work and sometimes not even then. I bought three of them and it’s the same with all three. I downloaded the app. I can turn it on and off from the app but you don’t have all the same options as you do on the remote. There is a button you can change colors with on the cord, but again, it doesn’t give you every color option so it’s really irritating. I’ll try to keep playing around with the app and see if I can get the same color combinations and the different movements. We had different strip lights before and loved them. One finally stopped working so we decided to get these so they’d all match. These plug into USB not a normal plug. I also noticed the UBD plug that goes into the wall gets quite hot. Our other ones didn’t do that and we just kept them on all the time unless we left the house. I won’t do that with these. ... show more

It comes with screws to nail it into the wall. I’m not big on making holes, so I cut up command strips and stuck them onto the clips and it works just as well. I think it’s super cute and lights up the room well. Gives my room the extra vibey mood I was going for
