This is a nice filter with a simple design. Understand before you purchase, that this is made of plasic resin and not ceramic. Though to look at it you wouldn't know. I'm happy with my purchase and added some sea glass pebbles to contribute to a trickling sound.

The media could not be loaded. It looks nice, but the water makes no sound and the lights aren’t visible unless you look right down into them. If you want a sculptural piece, this fits the bill perfectly but if you are looking for a gentle flowing water sound or lights that shine above the fountain then this is probably not the one for you.

The noise level is a tricky question the motor doesn’t make any noise but the fountain doesn’t make the water trickling sound that one get a fountain to hear.

The fountain is wonderful but you have to unplug and plug in it for every use. it’s a super hassle. I did buy a plug switch on Amazon for $12 but it was already pretty costly so the switch should have been included.

When I opened the box, I was excited as the body of the fountain looked really pretty. After struggling for 10 minutes to get the pump through the very small opening, I was less enthused. Then, when I turned it on, the pump seemed a little loud. After another 10 minutes it was worse! The pump is so horrible! I thought about sending it back but the box had already made its way to the recycle center and I didn't know how I would send it back. The fountain looks beautiful but sounds like a jet engine.
