No directions on putting it together, I fiddled with it til I figured it out. Couple of things I don't like: the fact that plastic plants are used, the kind that you put in aquariums. Not a huge deal, I'm probably going to try to replace some of the plastic with some sort of material that looks a bit more natural. The paint used seems to come off easily, I've had to dig out some floating bits of paint here and there. And the other thing is that you need to be careful where you place it, and how you've got the LED light / mist-maker thing sitting inside the bottom of the fountain. If it isn't in a good place, it'll just spray water everywhere, and the mist also creates water droplets that build up around the place that you've set the fountain. I wanted it on my computer desk hutch, so I usually keep the fountain on, but the mist-maker off, so I get the nice water droplet sounds without the mist condensing all over the desk. Overall, I think it's a nice little sculpture that I hopefully can improve a little, and make even better. I'm pretty satisfied with it.

The media could not be loaded. So I bought this beautiful fountain for my mother's birthday thank God I took a look before giving it to her there was so many cons about this fountain #1, the water hose was to long so I had to cut a small piece so the pump could fit Into the tank #2 there was a black broken piece that does not go with the tank and magically appeared into the hose SO! That took me 10mins to figure out how to get it out because it wouldn't work if I didn't, #3 before and after pictures that the power cord couldn't fit in the back of the tank because it was way to small so my fiance had to cut it through with scissors and broke it so it can fit right through. I did not wanted to send it back because I can fix it but I shouldn't be and this company should be a shame and check their work before sending out costumers their fountains , thank you. The first of this product that I received was broken (water wheel axel was snapped), was missing the lights and the pump itself. I returned it for another one which had all of the pieces in tact. However, after using it a few times, I noticed a trend: when the water level was high enough that the pump was quite, water would splash out of the fountain. Once enough water splashed out that it stopped splashing, the pump would make noise. This is something I intended to leave running consistently but so much water splashes out that it's not feasible. In regards to set up, for me, it came in an unsealed box (both times) and the Styrofoam protecting the fountain is so weak that it breaks significantly as you try to pull it out of the box. Installing the lights under the waterfall took a few tries but not bad. Installing the pump was fairly easy too. When holding/interacting with the fountain in general you have to be pretty careful because the little plants on the front are just hot glued on and aren't very stable (at least in my experience). Regarding the appearance, I generally really like it. I chose this fountain after some research because I liked the vibrant colors and variety of features (waterfall, lights, cascading rocks, water wheel, etc.). Overall, a pretty fountain that looks nice but makes noise (or splashes water) and is fairly cheaply built. For me personally it was not worth it for the price and I'll be returning it.

Don't put this fountain by anything you value it leaks all over the place in multiple places. I have set several pictures to explain. First the produce is expensive for the extra work to make it work. It is very quiet, shipping and packaging was great. It is what you see in the picture BUT beware. It leaks out of the back and 5he top level flows all over but down were it is suppose too. You can see in the pictures. I got glued a clear plastic piece across the holes then it started running and leaked out of the top so I added a plastic wall up there to prevent it from flowing out of the top then it started leaking out of the left side on the top level so I placed another plastic piece up there with hot glue to prevent this from leaking. It is now running in a safe area overnight to see if I clogged up all the leaks. Don't waste your money it is not worth it. The pump cost 8 to 12$ and you can make your own for less then the trouble this fountain with less mess. Don't buy not worth it.

It was easy to set up. I placed it on a wooden shelf. There is a little bit of hum to the pump, but it is minor. It normally is running for about 8 hours a day. 3 days later I noticed that the wooden shelf is now splitting apart because of the water that leaks out. I have checked it before to see if there was any splashing over from the fountain and I did not see or feel any. There is no where else in which water could have gotten on to the shelf except for the fountain. I have had a fountain on the same shelf for 6 years and never had a problem. Now I have to replace the shelf and find a new fountain.
