The cord appeared used at first, since the bag wasn't included and only part of the cord was tied. After ordering a second to confirm, this is what you get. The cord is slippery, but that may fade with time. It feels much cheaper than a lot of the outdoor cords, but also costs about half as much. Overall, it looks and feels like it fits the price. In my case, this is an extension for an outdoor fan. It's more than adequate for that sort of application. For my leaf blower, I would be skeptical of a short or burn out. I would not recommend splicing this cord for some questionable security setup, either. It's a basic extension cord with a slightly thicker exterior. Perhaps the bag being left out means the cord is made with slightly better materials now. I wouldn't count on it, though. If your power requirement is fairly low, it's a good way to save a few dollars and still get something made for outdoor use.
