I love this laundry detergent. I have been using it for about a year now. I love that it is low toxic and it smells so good. I have even turned my boyfriend on to it because he loves the smell and it has lowered his skin irritation from sweating at work.

It really means a lot to me to use a laundry detergent which is safe from chemicals and other things, which might raise a red flag from a caution standpoint. Considering that clothing, sheets, towels, etc. are in such close contact with our bodies for all hours of the day, I want to be as safe as possible. I had been using Myers and Seventh Generation, which are a bit more expensive than the Tide detergents ... but after doing several hours of research on different sources which test and explain ingredients, I was surprised to find out that even the 'so called green' detergents used ingredients with possible scary effects. Molly's detergent was ranked the highest from a safety standpoint compared to the others, on several different sources, so I decided to give it a try. The elephant in the room is that other, than The Laundress, it was the most expensive brand I saw. I bought the biggest jug, which gave a little savings, but it still costs 3 - 4x what the average laundry detergent costs. One thing I am really frustrated about is that the measuring system is very difficult. As this is ultra-concentrated, a little goes a long way and for really dirty laundry, the recommended amount is somewhere between the cap being 1/4 to 1/2 of the way full. The markings get totally lost in the cap's design and it is almost impossible to figure out exactly what level to pour in the cap. At this price, there should be markings which stand out on the cap because wasting any of this precious liquid can get expensive. Things I really like about this: - The scent is so fresh smelling and understated. You'll know its there ... but it isn't overwhelming..i wear expensive cologne and I am glad this scent doesn't overpower the cologne scent. The Myers Lavender detergent I used to use which had a weird sort of 'sour' note to it. It bothered me throughout the day and eventually my closet started smelling that way. While Molly's does have a sweet sort of scent, it is fresh and clean, although I would never guess 'ocean mist' was the scent ... it smells more like fabric softener. - It seems to get my clothes a little cleaner than other detergents I've tried, such as Myers or Seventh Generation. I notice my towels are less stained and my whites don't look as grimy. Of course, this won't ever compete with a detergent like Tide ... but the health benefits of not having all the chemicals outweigh the performance for me. As long as the clothes don't smell out of the washer. I feel more comfortable with Molly's detergent's high ratings when it comes to safety ... and trust me, I've done a lot of research on that. The high expense of this is worth it to me ... while not a great value, it works well and isn't loaded with chemicals. I hope they redesign the cap to make it easier to read ... but beyond that, I'll stick with this. I hope my honest review after buying and using this product were helpful to you.

I really like this better than all other organic laundry detergent I've tried. I love the amber scent and not the fake chemical scents of mainstream brands. It does a fantastic job getting stains out and cleaning my clothes and smells awesome!! I also love the highly concentrated form in such a tiny bottle, half the size of most.

I’ve been using Zum clean laundry soap for as long as I can remember but have always bought patchouli. The scent has been unavailable for awhile so I had to try another scent and am pleased with the relaxing aroma of lavender that this soap leaves on my sheets and towels while getting them beautifully clean.

Price matters, but convenience rules. The only store I can find this in locally, quite the drive, so I now order online! A higher rate, but an excellent product. Hope to catch it or any of their scents on sale and maybe with a air freshener bundle? makes the laundry room smell great for two hours. I only use on my clothes, as does not do well on super dirty or stained clothing, for sheets it is glorious. .

I started using Zum patchouli detergent because I’m one of those strange people who can’t go down the laundry isle, the artificial scents really have an awful effect on my sinuses. I can, however, use products that are essential oil based. I was having trouble purchasing at my normal location, so I decided to try this scent from Amazon. This laundry detergent does a great job and smells fresh, arrived without incident or leaking, and safely does my laundry without a chemical smell. Also more economical for me having it delivered to my door than making the 45 minute drive.

This is my favorite laundry detergent. Not only is it a clean product that I feel good about using for my family but it also smells wonderful! Most clean washing soaps dont smell great, but this one does! It cleans great and doesn't take much! Came nicely packaged, taped on the lid to ensure it didn't spill in transit.
