This is a great product! You can increase the heat and the humidity!!!! I have two of these and they work great with ducks and chicks, I have hatched chicks twice in this incubator and only one didn’t make it for the first and we are on the second rn and one has already hatched on day 19!

10/10 My second time incubating chicken eggs. My 1st incubator experience was terrible. At least half of my chicks died during hatching. This incubator was easy to set up and it automatically rolls the eggs . The humidity was perfect for the whole incubation. The light on top is good but I have my own candler. Its functional but I like mine more. I am excited to use this again for my next batch of chicks! Worth the money!

I purchased this incubator to hatch chicks in my classroom. I placed 12 fertilized eggs in this incubator. It says it can hold 12 eggs, but they were really close together. I kept a live YouTube stream going to record and this incubator did turn the eggs well. It didn't have as many temperature settings as I would have liked. I kept it at 99 since it didn't go to 99.5 for chicken eggs. I had 3 out of 12 hatch. It is very small. One chick hatching and staying in this incubator is really all it has room for. I had two hatch in one day. I had to leave them both 24 hours. They did okay, but with the other eggs it was a tight fit for them. When I tried to take them out they both tried to go back in. I did have to move the incubator to the hallway during state testing. I feel that might have contributed to the other eggs not hatching properly. I used a long extension cord and tried to only unplug it a few seconds, but it probably effected the outcome for the unhatched eggs. I recorded a video about the water bottle placement. I tried using only side A as the instructions say to do and the humidity jumped to 69 percent. So I tried using just side B the first 18 days and the humidity was perfect. It stayed at about 45-50%. On day 18 I added the second water bottle to side A and the humidity jumped to 65 percent. Sometimes it got closer to 70%. During hatching the humidity spiked to 75%, but never over 80%. My 3 chicks that hatched were able to hatch so quickly with the perfect humidity and temperature. It was shocking how easily they hatched compared to other older incubators I have used in the past. They were literally barely peeping and out in less than 30-45 minutes. I have a video of one hatching in less than 2 minutes. My 3 that hatched fluffed up so nicely, their legs were strong and they were very healthy. They were eating and playing within 24 hours of hatching. The only negative aspects are the size it truly doesn't hold 12 eggs for true hatching purposes. It doesn't take up much space so that might be a positive for many customers. The temperature doesn't allow 99.5. It jumps from 99 to 100. The candeling light doesn't work to candle eggs. It wasn't good for that purpose. The positive is it did work and I had three good hatched chicks. The chicks hatched quickly showing the temperature and humidity were at proper levels. The vent dial worked well to adjust the humidity. The turner not only moved the eggs, but it literally rolls them. The set up was so easy. Removing the turner day 18 was very easy. This is a great beginner incubator for smaller amounts of eggs 6-8 at the most. I love that the clear dome allowed my students to see the eggs and watch the chicks hatch and observe the chick after hatching. I was also able to monitor the eggs on YouTube live from home on the weekend and nights. This incubator made my classroom egg hatching a very positive experience for my students.

it was hard to get the humidity to stay level. I did 12 eggs and not one hatched I think because the humidity went up and down so much somewhere in different time frames of dying some couple had feathers some didn’t have nothing. Someone was just barely starting to turn and then quit growing could be operator error

I bought it to send to my parents, who have a small farm and raise animals, and it has worked very well for them. The incubator is easy to use, maintains the temperature well, has been a big help with the eggs, and is very practical for day-to-day use.
