I already own a 360 Harrison Farms Nurture Right incubator that is fairly close to perfect for $50 more. Compared to the Nuture Right, this product is less expensive and is actually gentler on the eggs during rotation. Where this product is lacking is with the smooth surface that chicks will walk on after the turner is removed. It will result in splayed legs without a rougher surface. I am using shelving paper cut out to spread across the bottom to correct for this issue. The other option would be to use the Nurture Right as a hatching incubator. This incubator will be my default for shipped eggs, which will be partially damaged when delivered. I used this incubator after placing shipping eggs upright in an egg carton for 3-days in the Nuture Right incubator (with the turner removed). Luckily half of the eggs ended up with repaired air cells. Those eggs now show veining in this incubator. Out of 14 eggs, I should end up with 5 chicks. The 360 Harrison Farms Nurture Right incubator would have resulted in a smaller number of veining eggs . It is rougher due to the texture on the base layer.     • Exceeded my expectations, neat features
This is a wonderful addition to my incubator lineup, and so far it's my favorite. Love the design and that it comes with an optional styrofoam dome and foundation for extra insulation, love that I can see both a temperature and humidity readout on the top even with the Styrofoam on. I tested it with my own thermometer and humidity gauge before risking my expensive eggs and found that not only is the built in one accurate, but the temperature is also very stable, with only two tenths of a degree variation no matter the temp changes in the room so far (fahrenheit). I haven't lost a single fertile egg in development so far. It's really set it and forget it, or so it seems, but I will update this review after hatch. My only problem with it is that I wish I could get a quail egg rack for it. I also should have read the manual- the low temperature alarm is extremely useful but I had to scramble to read the manual and figure out how to shut it off when it came on while I had the incubator open to check the eggs. This review is being done in two parts. First off this unit comes packaged decent, I feel outer box could be stronger, after unboxing, I looked over the items, the little feeder and waterer are better off being removed from the items, the plastic is put on before assembly making it a task to remove should be die cut plastic protective cover. Also hold on to the Styrofoam packing, it will be useful to insulate the unit in winter. I believe this company could save money and just make out of Styrofoam like others. So far happy with the unit. I am at 3.75 out of 5 on it as it is from set up to hatch. Temp readings could use c and f switching, instructions are in English. ... show more

The incubator did a wonderful job of hatching out quail chicks. An entry level incubator with features normally only found on higher end models. Excellent for classroom or as a backup. Update: I've hatched out three batches of eggs and got great results on all the hatches. My only recommendation is to cut a piece of drawer liner material and place in the bottom of the incubator when putting the eggs into lockdown. This will keep the newly hatched chicks from getting splay leg. Other than that I think this is a very capable incubator. ... show more

This is one of the easiest incubators I have used. I added 100ml of water to the Reservoir. Added my eggs, and selected chicken for that egg hatch. And the incubator did everything else. I didn’t even have to adjust the temp or humidity. You get a full view of the hatch process.

Just hatched our very 1st round chick! Chicks are doing great! Really worth each and every penny! (all of fertilized eggs with no trouble on the first incubation ,yes it hatched automatic, I simply add water) just comply with directions, works very nicely with keeping temp and humidity. shipped outstanding speedy . Would propose empty trial run 24hrs first when taking out of field to take a look at all the function. All in all awesome handy to use. I'm now not a fan of the alarm as it is so loud . Incubator record does not reset when my canine by accident unplugs it . lol ~~~~ RECOMMEND!! ... show more

Set up was simple as far as assembly goes. Rotation tray did not turn eggs over like my other incubators have. Adjusting temp/days could not do. Manual was no help. Worst hatching have ever had.

The media could not be loaded. Now starting my 5th batch today. We have hatched 61 chicks out of a potential 69 eggs. 1rd : 11/15hatched 2rd : 13 /15hatched 3rd : 17/19 hatched 4rd : 20/20hatched This is a high performance incubator. Before starting, I candle(egg candler include) every egg to check for air bubbles, cracks. I keep adding water externally for 60%rh, vent is opened halfway. Temperature stays at 38.5° the whole cycle. When it is 3 days until hatch, I spray as instruction. Around day 14, I candle every egg, being careful not to change the position it was laying in when inside the incubator. If eggs that aren't dark at that time will get tossed. In the 4th batch, it is becoming easier for me to check if the egg is fertilized . But it had lost electricity for about 8 hours for accident, hatch rate was still fine. They suggest using the attached foam box to keep warm and moisturize when no electricity . All in all,they made one helluva product ... show more
