Great incubator, perfect for my classroom. I love how the top shows the temperature and the humidity, as well as which day we are on. It automatically rotates the eggs which is helpful since I’m a teacher and this makes sure my eggs are taken care of over the weekend. The humidity can be a little wonky but I just twist the knob or refill the water bottle and it gets right on track. My only complaint would be about the candler built into the top. The light up display panel with the humidity and temp are right in front of it and to my knowledge cannot be turned off which has affected my ability to candle with this machine. I use a separate flashlight for this instead. Definitely worth it for the cost.

Worked great and easy to use! I put 8 eggs in and 7 hatched! It kept heat and humidity well. I appreciate that it rolls the eggs every so often and you can control how often. It counts the days of incubation as well. Love the clear dome for easy viewing of what is happening inside.

This incubator is super easy to set up and operate. It works perfectly and ensures even heating with the auto turner. It has a digital display that is easy and clear to read. It holds 12 eggs and you can see clearly into the incubator at all times .

Good temperature control but having issues with the humidity staying up. I have to add more water to the bottom of the tray to get it up to the correct humidity. Other than that great incubator easy set up

We purchased this incubator for my wife's classroom so her students could learn about the incubation process. Everything worked perfectly. Was able to hatching 12 chick's. Perfect size and value for the money. Easy to put together and understand the process. The extended bottles helped to keep the humidity correct on the weekends when we couldn't always make it to the classroom. Very minimal smell.

Incubator works great, it's easy to setup and maintain. Easy to clean when you are done hatching your eggs. It keeps track of what day it is in your cycle so it automatically stops rotating the eggs when it is supposed to. Just save the box so you can store it for next spring!

Temperature and humidity gauge are way off. I ended up putting a Govee Temperature and Humidity gauge in the incubator to monitor. The machine is set to 101.0 and Humidity is reading 64%. The Govee gauge reads 99.3 degrees and 57% Humidity. This is with multiple additional holes being drilled through the top around the one tiny preexisting vent that came on the machine. Haven't put the eggs in yet but due today. Will update later on what % hatch rate I get. Very suspect that this thing won't work right. Should've gone with a Styrofoam brand as I know it would've been. More insulated.

Good, but far from perfect. My first time incubating chicken eggs, and of 18 eggs I have 7 chicks. I think 4 might not have been fertilized. The IBKINXX has a few shortcomings, mainly controlling HUMIDITY and lack of clear INSTRUCTIONS. I read and read and read online, and over the past month have learned what I wish the instructions would have said. If you want baby chicks, sure use this incubator, but beware of a few things. 1. Leave eggs at room temperature for a day, pointy side down, before placing in the incubator. This is especially important if the eggs were shipped. The air pocket needs time to settle at the wide end. 2. The counter starts at Day 1, automatic turning stops at the beginning of Day 18, and eggs aren’t expected to hatch until Day 22. I think turning should be stopped for Days 19, 20, 21. Day 18 was too soon. 3. Humidity doesn’t get high enough during lockdown. I put a (clean, new) kitchen sponge in the incubator, heated distilled water in the microwave to feel warm not hot, then used a funnel I created out of a plastic cup and skinny straw to pour the water through the vent holes onto the sponge. It would raise the humidity, but it had to be done repeatedly. 4. Space. There was space for my hatched chicks because there were only seven. With more, it would be crazy crowded. If you’re sure you have good hatching eggs, I wouldn’t recommend using this incubator at capacity. 5. The candling light seems good, but for dark brown eggs it’s insufficient. A tactical LED flashlight worked well, modified with masking tape to cushion the sharp edge. It’s been an emotional roller coaster, but I’ve learned a lot and can’t wait to start again. I do recommend this incubator, but for newbies like myself, starting with fewer (and cheaper) hatching eggs would be smart. Expect losses.
