It came quickly, no missing parts, extremely easy to put together, looks just like the photo, and give's my son extra room in his bedroom. My only complaint is with the delivery. The driver left the package in front of my garage instead of the front door, making it extremely easy for anyone to steal it. They also placed it in a way that I could have hit it with my car. Luckily we noticed it right away. It moves quite a bit when moving around on the bed. So, it's wobbly, but it's even and doesn't teeter back and forth. We may just have to keep an eye on the screws and tighten up from time to time. It's worth the purchase, and glad we got it. BTW my son is 160 and 6.2" tall. We left the end piece off so his feet can hang off the end. Hoping it lasts him at least through his college years.

The media could not be loaded. PACKAGING: This bed is well packaged, and came in a relatively small box considering how large the final piece is. ASSEMBLY: Against my better judgment, but in the interest of time, I put this together by myself. It took about 3.5 hours total. The instructions were decent, but there were a couple pieces I had to redo because the diagram wasn't very clear on which way to turn the piece and I was in a hurry so I missed it until I tried to attach the next piece. Placing the slats underneath was a bear. The plastic squares that close up the openings to keep the slats in place were brutal on the fingers. I was afraid to use a hammer because I didn't want to break them, but they were so hard to lock into place I was nearly in tears. I tried starting from different angles and it didn't seem to make much of a difference. Maybe wear gloves for that step? STURDINESS: This generally feels pretty sturdy. I love how many slats there are to support the mattress, so sagging should not be an issue. It does creak a bit and I'm slightly bummed by that. SIZE: I'm not sure if the mattress space is tighter than it should be or if the mattress I bought is slightly larger than it should be, but there is ZERO space to comfortably make the bed. The sheets are just kind of crammed into place. That is the most aggravating part of this bed, but again I'm not sure if it's the bed's fault or the mattress. COMFORT: As others have stated, the ladder rungs are very painful on a bare foot. After a couple weeks I decided to hack around that. (See video in this review) For $2 at Lowe's you can buy a foam pipe cover and cut it to size for each rung, and the bottom frame. I slid those over the rungs and they made a significant improvement in comfort, but felt dangerous because they spun around. So I grabbed double-sided grip tape used to keep area rugs in place, and cut into the appropriate size strips and placed them under the foam on each rung. Problem solved! Now more comfortable and safer.

Great loft bed, easy to assemble. Definitely need to stabilize it to the wall. The ladder is a little tough for adults, but getting a ladder for the bed resolved the problem.

It was easy enough to assemble. Looks nice. I put a computer table underneath. Need some light there, I am going to rig up a two bulb shop light hanging off the bars. Why a shop light? because I over bought a couple for my work shop and they are still brand new, lol...It should provide cool nice bright lighting. Seems a little shaky but I haven't mounted to the wall yet, that should take care of it. However as other have pointed out the ladder is funky, I am going to weld up a nice slanted ladder that will hang off the top railing, it will be moveable so it can be place out of the way when not it use. Overall, happy with it...will work for me.

I was very excited to put my loft bed together and start sleeping in it. The assembly was fairly long, taking 5-6 hours to put together, but overall simple. Having two people or more would likely reduce the time by a lot. For context, I'm 190 lbs, and my mattress is 50 lbs, well below the 400 lb recommended maximum weight limit, but still I absolutely do not trust this frame to climb down and up from, and cannot trust sleeping on it at all. Climbing up on the provided ladder is uncomfortable; the thin metal bars hurt your feet. During the climb, It feels very dangerous. The entire frame shakes back and forth and makes some very loud popping sounds as the metal flexes and tenses against my weight. This not only feels insecure, but the shaking also makes it very difficult itself to climb and get a solid hold to get up. It's really not worth the risk of injury, and seems super easy to fall or have a rung fail and end up with a broken leg or head injury. Sleeping atop the frame is also uncomfortable if you make any motions. If you roll over or shift your weight, the frame will sway around or creak. Several times in my sleep, I was woken up due to this. I just wish this was a more sturdy, solid build. It just was not worth purchasing, assembling, and using in my case of being an adult weight.

I bought 2 of these so my girls could have a little more room in their shared bedroom. They took time to install but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My children helped me and we had no problems (probably would have been faster without them!) So far they are sturdy without any squeaking or problems. We have had them for about a month. The only negative is because the ladder rungs are so thin my girls complain a bit about them hurting their feet as they climb up and down. A slightly better design would have been nice in that regard as well as an opening in the rail at the top of the ladder (which I knew upon buying.) Otherwise they are nice beds. My girls were also excited about a fun color option!
