Have you ever bought or used something and you said to yourself "I wish I had bought/used this sooner" That is exactly what you'll say when you use this little rice making miracle, especially if you never used a rice cooker before. I have always cooked my rice in a pot, and the rice I produced was always hit or miss in terms of taste and texture. I can honestly say I have never had a "Perfect" pot of rice cooked, until now. This thing is so easy to use, easy to clean, hardly takes up any space. Just happily sits on my countertop waiting to be used to make another hot fresh pot of rice. Nice little device. My last rice cooker died and I needed an uncomplicated replacement on short notice. This one is far easier to clean and you don't have to fit any parts together to use it, which is convenient. I cooked a test batch of one portion, came out great. If you like your rice with more bite to it, maybe use slightly less water than the water lines indicate. I would probably hand wash the cooking bowl so it retains its non-stick coating, instead of scorching it off in a dishwasher. The only issue is there is no off switch, so you need to unplug it every time. ... show more

I have used this rice cooker for over a year. It does a great job cooking rice. I have never had any problems with rice spilling over the sides or with water bubbling out the hole in the lid. I am thinking that maybe those kinds of problems come from not rinsing the rice well before cooking. My only problem has been the rice browning in the pan if I leave it set too long on the warm setting. In order to prevent the browning I just unplug the unit when it nears completion of the cooking cycle. IMHO this little rice cooker does a great job for the price. For some reason I cannot seem to cook rice well on the stove. I am very happy with this IMUSA rice cooker, especially at this price point. ... show more

Yeah... It's idiot proof. I can reliably state this fact. I'm an idiot, and I've been using it for a while. You can even get creative, and use canned tomatoes with chillis. Just calculate the right amount of water. I found that 1.5 cups of water to 1 can of tomatoes. Experiment! It'll be great. This is a great product. ... show more

This little rice cooker does exactly what it is supposed to do. Rice turns out perfect every time. Be sure to stir occasionally once it is on the warm setting so that it doesn't dry out too much on the bottom.

Always wondered if I needed an extra gadget/rice cooker. Figured I'd get a small basic unit to test it out so I got this 3Cup Imusa unit & tonight was impressed at how much better my rice tasted. The texture was a noticeable improvement over my usual stove/saucepan method (which was always on the sticky side). I'm really happy with this little gadget and if you're like me & always wondered if you needed a rice cooker, try this one.
