For the money it works surprisingly well. I have several Yeti thermoses which carry a Matcha/coffee mix. By the end of the day they are lukewarm at best. Within 3 minutes they are back to being hot. I only wish this was a little longer since the containers are tall. But does the job and that’s what matters.

I live offgrid and have been using this daily for a few months now to warm up water for coffee or noodles. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it does take longer to warm up the water then it states and the flimsy plastic clip easily broke off. Otherwise it takes exactly 300watts as expected and still working well after daily use.

Purchased this to replace one that took over 10 minutes to heat water in a 12 oz mug and am not disappointed. As a tea drinker this is my travel must take (with a dollar store mug and tea bags.) It boils water as quickly as the electric kettle I use at home. Recommend and would buy again.

1. This immersion heater warms up my refrigerated milk in a mug really FAST. in about 2 minutes it's HOT. 2. It's decent quality. doesn't seem to have problems such as plastic melting like other products. 3. There is one catch if you want to warm up things other than water: the coiled design makes it HARD TO CLEAN. Especially if you're dealing with thick liquid such as soup or milk. I find using metal wool does the trick but worry it'll eventually damage the product. I'm still going to keep it.

Great for travel. I use it to make hot tea when traveling. (Hotels and coffee shops are not very dependable if you’re a tea drinker.) I like this because I can pack it inside my Yeti mug while traveling, and its longer design heats up water quickly. Here are my tips for using - 1) I use at least a 20 ounce Yeti mug (heats up inside, stays cool outside) 2) SET a timer for five to six minutes minutes (depending on how hot you want your water) 3) stir the water after four minutes 4) when done, run the heater element under cool water for a few moments before setting it down 5) make your tea and enjoy your day

Perfect in size and hold up well and works well. Do need to careful to where to put it so doesn’t melt anything and watch it while using, it can quickly over boil. Size is perfect for traveling.
