First off, the fabric is amazing – it's sturdy but not too heavy, it has just the right thickness for spring/autumn and because it is loose and roomy it can be worn comfortably even during summer. Also it feels so nice to touch. It’s denim, it's super versatile, and the boxy design gives the freedom to wear it over a long sleeve thin shirt or a dress and it looks very trendy either way. It looks awkward on, stiff, boxy, sleeves, just not the effect I wanted. The style may turn out to be not for me, but that's not taking anything away from the construction and quality of the garment itself. It's a good, heavy-ish denim, nothing flimsy or cheap looking or feeling about that. It's well constructed, accurate sizing, and I have zero complaints about the construction. Could easily just be that I'm not a good fit for this style, but IF this look appeals to you, I think you will not regret it, worth the money in that regard. ... show more

My girlfriend had this to say: I am happy with this garment. It is well-made, and the fabric is pleasant to the touch - substantial but not too heavy. This piece is super versatile - it can be worn as a jacket and as a blouse. Its roomy construction allows it to work well with layering. I love a piece that can be worn in different ways all year round. The collar works flipped up or down. The airy design makes it fabulous in hot weather - but on cold days it can be added as an extra layer - even over a sweater - for an extra bit of protection against the elements. Grey black short jeans jacket. I ordered a size Large. I normally get an XL. I knee it would not button closed. I wanted it as an open jacket. As you can see it hits me nicely length wise. The sleeves are still large in opening. The front top 3 buttons will reach eachother astound waist hop no. But again i did not want it to close! If I had bought an XL i would be able to button it closed but the sleeves would of been way to baggy & the length length long. The fabric has a nice feel to it. I love the color grey/black. I was very well pleased with the jacket; I could not believe how good the denim was. I was expecting something a little cheesier, but this thing is the real deal. I cannot wait for the weather to get a little warmer so I can wear this with a nice sweater tank and some capris and sandals, come on spring. I think you can dress this jacket up or down; however you feel like. With the right dress and scarf, I could see this at church on Sunday. ... show more

One of the biggest trends this spring/summer is the Canadian tuxedo (denim on denim) look. This denim short sleeve top is a cool modern way to dress. The fit is oversized but not baggy. It’s very structured with medium weight fabric. It looks more expensive than it is. My daughter likes to style this with a slim fit colorful long sleeve tee underneath with baggy jeans and chunky loafers. I highly suggest air drying to prevent shrinkage. ... show more

I wanted to be over the moon about this jacket but I’m not. I like it and must admit that it exhibits more quality that I expected. I gave it 5 stars because it held up well in both the washer and dyer; it’s kinda comfortable. The attached pictures show it in its rough dried state… I think it needs a good ironing!
