I ordered this to use in my 2002 Ford Taurus. The way that the lighter plugs/receptacles are set up in my vehicle, this really did not fit very well in either of them. It did not stick out far enough due to the receptacles being so recessed. It was very hard to get my fingers onto the controls, much less see the controls on the device. However, I was willing to live with it because this seemed ideal for what I wanted to use it for at a great price. I wanted to be able to take calls, make calls (you can only redial the last number), and play music through my car's stereo speakers. Plus, it let me play MP3s via USB stick, or charge 2 phones/devices via USB. It connected to my iPhone easily. It does NOT have any power buttons or on/off automatically, so you must unplug it while it is not in use, or it will place a drain on your battery while your vehicle is turned off. In order to get the clearest sound, one must choose an FM radio station that is not in use in your area. Since I drive to work an hour away, sometimes that is difficult to do and still be able to use this throughout the entire drive to and from work and locally. I found a station that seemed the best fit (87.9). I set my radio to that station. I was unable to get this device to let me choose my station. This device would only go to 107.9 and 88.1, and some station in between. I was unable to scroll through any other frequencies on it. The best one seemed to be the 88.1 frequency, so I tried it. This frequency was not too bad locally, but as I got closer to where I work, the local radio station began to cut in. It resulted in too much static. So, all I could use the device for was playing MP3s on a USB stick. I could not successfully make calls. I believe that I just got a defective unit. I returned it. It is a nice little unit at a great price, if it works properly; mine did not. I still gave it 4 stars. If you have a cigarette plug that is recessed much at all or is a location that is not easily accessible 360 degrees, this probably won't be your best choice either. ... show more

My car is older, and I needed something with Bluetooth to get my phone to play music. I found out about these through TikTok and trust me, I never clicked “buy” that quickly before! It came in the next day or two, you know how prime goes, and I installed it right away. It took me a few tries to understand the instructions, I don’t know why, because in retrospect, they were really straightforward and simple. But, alas, I did it. It’s been around 4 months now and I think I’ll delay getting a Bluetooth interface put in for even longer. It definitely is a good purchase, definitely value for your money. My reason for 4 stars is because it has a lot of staticky feedback of late, volume up or down and it’s so annoying!! That was never the case in the beginning, and my routes have always been the same, so I can’t figure out where the interference is coming from. Hopefully it goes away or I’ll just buy another one and give it a shelf life of three to four months. ... show more

I bought this product because all the other products I've tried that are powered through the aux port on my car don't work. There is always loud static noise when using these products. But not with this product, the base will really explode when you use this product almost too much that it can be adjusted with your equalizer. This item works like your car stereo, only the volume has to be doubled, which is normal to get the same sound effect with this product, but other than that, so far I could not find any product with the best quality. I love the feature that lets you know your car's battery charge level before you connect to Bluetooth. And that's great because it still has two USB charging ports. All in one great product. He does what he says. The only downside I can say about it is that it gets very hot when you use it, but other than that great product! ... show more

This was such a game changer for me. I don’t have an aux outlet and my car is 20 years old. I’ve been playing music in my car through a blue tooth speaker which isn’t very loud over the sound of driving. I was fine with that for a while. But then I got this and I saw the light. It works really well and you can still plug your phone in. There isn’t any static like there are with some other products. I absolutely love it. And you can answer the phone with it so that’s cool. Bought this to use in a 2008 Ford Expedition since it did not come with Bluetooth. Was super easy to connect to my phone and worked perfectly. It sounds great as long as you can find a FM frequency that is not being used in your area. I also bought this to use in our camping trailer since it also did not come with bluetooth but would be nice to use as a charger for phones when camping and to connect phones/laptops to the built in radio/speaker setup in the trailer. ... show more

Bluetooth/FM transmitters that I've had in the past have usually been a compromise for me. This one has really impressed me though. It paired to my phone very easily. Seems like it's well-built. After finding an empty frequency on the radio, I easily selected the radio frequency and it works great. I don't hear any static with my setup. Works great, but the volume is somewhat lower than the FM Radio. You have to turn up your phone volume to 100% after pairing this device (C57) and car radio knob about +20% higher for it to match the volume of the FM Radio when you switch stations, but overall the sound is clear with no distortion using FM 88.3 (no station for Bluetooth using Spotify). Bluetooth audio device workarounds for cars are usually lower in volume, but maybe there is something similar to this out there with higher volume. ... show more
