I see other reviews complaining that there is no USB drive. It's a software download with a serial code, you don't need a USB drive. I've been using the demo version of FL Studio for many, many years. I finally got the paid version so that I could save my projects. I use FL Studio in conjunction with the free program, Audacity. This combo allows me to do everything I want!

Had fruity loops 7 or 8 at 16 in 08 but didn’t get the feel so I went to reasons, pro tools, and native instruments but now I respect FL Studio. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for easy to use is because it has everything you could ever want built in and it will take some time to figure out where and how to use it all. But it offers hints or online help, forums....etc. it's a great product so I should give myself 3 stars for not learning fast enough! Love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in music software

I recently purchased the Fruity Loops Fruity Edition for my husband, an aspiring musician and singer, in hopes of providing him with a comprehensive recording software. While the software does offer robust features for composing, arranging, and editing music, a major drawback has left me a bit disappointed. False Advertisement on Vocal Recording: ★★☆☆☆ The selling point of the Fruity Loops Fruity Edition is its promise to provide "Everything you need in one package to compose, arrange, record, edit, mix and master professional quality music." Unfortunately, this claim falls short when it comes to recording vocals. As my husband is primarily a singer, the inability to record vocals with this edition was a significant disappointment. It's disheartening to discover that a feature so fundamental to music creation is not included in the "everything" package. Deceptive Description: ★☆☆☆☆ The software's marketing creates an expectation that all essential functions for music creation are included. The omission of vocal recording capabilities feels like a deceptive move, leading customers to believe they are getting a comprehensive solution when, in fact, a crucial component is missing. This lack of transparency in the product description is a letdown. Upgrade Pressure: ★★☆☆☆ Discovering the limitation of vocal recording only after the purchase feels like a tactic to push users towards upgrading. It was late, and It was literally just the starter guide with a code. No box like in the picture. Just a disappointment 😞. I literally could of just bought the digital software the same day online, if I had known this is all it was.
