The machine isn't horrible nor is it great. The instructions aren't the best and could use some proof reading. The expresso nor the cappuccino wasn't anywhere near as hot as I would have expected. I ended up returning it and getting a different machine.

    • Not great, just barely okay. Save your money.
Where to start. The cup warmer does NOT warm the cups. In fact, it doesn't even warm itself. The portafilter is very difficult to remove after brewing, even after releasing the pressure. The machine is basically an inexpensive (sort of) means to brew a less than mediocre cup of espresso. My advice, save your money until you can afford a more expensive machine like a Breville. This espresso machine was damaged at the area below the water tank as it leaks every time water is put in the water tank. This is absolute waste of money. I bought this as a mom gift to myself and I can’t use this because the rubber sealant is damaged causing water leakage. This is extremely disappointing as $172 has gone down the drain for this machine. I would rate 0 stars if it were possible. ... show more

This Ilavie Espresso coffee Machine failed in 3mos. Having this machine fail without warning was very disappointing. Don't buy this machine if you love your coffee. This Machine will not deliver your coffee as promised.

After having the machine for a week it broke and started just squirting water out of the steam wand constantly and wouldn’t make coffee anymore. The company sent a new machine and after a month the second machine did the exact same thing. Amazon was great and let us return the original one for a refund. ... show more
