My 7-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son both love to sit in this chair and read. I warned them to be gentle opening and closing it and so far, the chair has held up well. It still spins well and opens and closes.

    • Expensive but cheaply made
Broke within the 1st month. The pull-down curtain does not work anymore and the padded you sit on keeps coming up. Very hard to swivel around just keeps sticking. Very expensive item for it to be like this.

This is my second time ordering this chair, the first one lasted 2 years and was great. This chair arrived today and is missing more than half of the parts. It was to arrive next week, I would’ve rather waited instead of the rushed delivery that left my special needs daughter still without her beloved chair. The little metal cylinder shaped rollers will start to fall out causing a choking hazard. IKEA was made aware of the problem and came to my home to pick them up!
