The PT-Elite version 2 provides a full teleprompting experience through a tablet. It allows you to travel light using either an iPad, Android or Windows tablet. The teleprompter is designed according to the standard 15mm rod system. This makes the entire setup more durable as well as lightweight. You can also mount the teleprompter to smaller tripods. Version 2 can support tablets ranging from 5x7. 5 inches to 8x10. 5 inches. The PT-Elite version 2 teleprompter features American-made scientific grade 70/30 teleprompter glass. I received my teleprompter and was pleasantly surprised! I had some nervousness from previous reviews however, this thing is awesome. Also, there were some great youtube clips of people setting it up so I felt a bit more confident about purchasing it. First of all, the glass and the tablet mount came already assembled and that meant that the issue of knowing which way to place the glass was solved. The rest of the assembly was easy and the remote worked perfectly too. Lastly, the foam in the box is great and I will keep it around and likely purchase the waterproof case to be able to transport it and store it as needed. It is obvious that Ikan has made several changes from original reviews that have been posted over time. And that is also awesome. Too many parts not listed in the manual that came in the box. No explanation of what the one washer is for or goes on? No explanation as to which brackets go where? Lots of assumptions by the manual that need to be addressed by the manufacturer in much greater detail. Left over parts that leave you with no clue if they're just extra in case you lose one or more down the road or if they should have actually been installed?? Don't have the time for that, especially when we're spending $700 for this! Had to watch a 3rd party video to figure out exactly how to assemble it correctly - didn't want one or more parts to end up where it shouldn't. Sending it back...TOO FRUSTRATING. Come on Ikan! For a $700 teleprompter, you could at least put the effort into a decent manual that some detail, let alone one that doesn't look like a plain paper photocopy that is only. IKEA makes better assembly manuals...and that's saying a lot. ... show more

Sturdy. The housing for the mirror holds firm, and using the Universal Tablet holder it adjusts to hold about any pad firmly. The fabric housing is sturdy, well designed and holds well without any fabric sag. Did not use the remote yet. Using the demo version of Teleprompter software by Luke Brody for Mac, so that I can then AirPlay a second monitor to the Ipad and remote control the app at the Mac station, so the remote isnt needed in my situation. ... show more
