The mics are good the issue is Samsung. I get the microphone to work about 75 to 80 percent of the time. it will show it is record with external mic and then pick up nothing or work great. I have actually contacted Samsung and the response I got was "HUMM we don't have a mic system we can recommend or make one" so yes this is a great system for the money, but Samsung is the issue. so buy it yes but test it with a sound check test video before every different session. ... show more

The wireless feature is pretty cool, giving me the freedom to move around hassle-free. Plus, the setup was a breeze, and its compact design is convenient. But, and it's a bit of a bummer, the sound quality is not exactly what I had hoped for. It's a tad muffled, you know? I'm the kind of person who likes crystal-clear audio, and this one didn't quite hit the mark. I guess I'm a bit old-school because I find myself going back to my trusty wired mic for that top-notch sound. If you're all about the wireless life and can compromise a bit on audio, it might work for you, but if sound quality is your top priority, you might want to stick with a good ol' wired option. ... show more

This product connected easily, was easy to use, and seemed like pretty decent quality. It did not come with a case of any kind, which I didn’t love. I tested it against the other lavalier mic in the same listing, and the other one performed much better in terms of distance and audio clarity. Although this mic has a shorter distance rating than that one, they both lived up to the range advertised in the listing. So if your content creation needs fit within the distance range listed for both products here, then you should be good to go. I did not test this in a high wind environment, nor did I test it with my kids making noise in the background. I did not love this one, because I was looking for something with just a little more quality for my contact creation. This one will be fine for entry-level vlogging. ... show more

I should start by saying the internal mic on my Samsung cell phone does a very good job. With this wireless mic, the sound quality is no better but no worse either. The advantage is that you have hands-free usage. Plus, with two mics, it can be used for interviews with another individual. The charge case that enables you to charge both mics plus the receiver simultaneously is pretty cool. However, one issue I noticed is I picked up a bit of interference when recording which I believe was due to other electrical equipment in my office area. It seemed to do a better job when using it outside. Perhaps that is a learning curve issue. Would be nice if there was a place to go for troubleshooting/suggestions. ... show more

The product case looked like it had been used before. Top of case was all scuffed. Sound quality on an Android was great. But the attachment for iPhone didn’t work at all. Instructions inside stated if device doesn’t work with phone’s camera settings you might have to download a third party camera/audio app. Not happy about that prospect.
