I work outside and needed gloves that would keep my hands warm in the cold. These gloves are amazing and work extremely well in the cold and when it's wet outside. My only issue is that the gloves are a lot thicker than I expected. So when I need to write or type, I have to take the gloves off. I bought these to use while bike riding with my nephew. They are a bit big on my hands but kept my fingers so warm I couldn't take them off. They work okay with the touch screen feature, they are just too big and don't recognize my fingers in them. I would recommend them for snow days or outdoor sports for your little ones. These are nice gloves but they are not very warm. The exterior is of good quality and I felt no seepage when the gloves got wet doing my chores and I didn't feel the moisture seep into the glove. The lining is very soft to the touch but if my hands got sweaty, I discovered the gloves were difficult to get off without pulling the liner out. I've been careful to not have that happen as it is tough to get the liner back in properly. Another thing, and this might just be me, but why is the thumb always at least 1/2" too long??? I have large hands for a woman and I don't mind a little extra length on the fingers, but the 1/2" is just too much. I was really looking for gloves that would keep my fingers warm on COLD days...20* or less. These do not fill the bill. The gloves offer fair warmth when the temperature is above 20* as long as one is not outside very long (less than a half hour)...but if you need to be out longer than that, you might look for a better quality of glove.
