I guess I was expecting a silicone based part compartment tray. This is a light weight clear plastic compartment tray. It's a little over priced for what it is. I'll use it until I can find my silicone tray.

I've been using this at work for several months as an electronic assembler and it is great for organizing small parts and hardware on builds and it is great for small bits and bobs. My only wish would be for more trays, with different layouts; fewer larger sections, divided into quarters, divided into horizontal quarters etc. At these very reasonable prices I would buy one for every occasion. ... show more

    • Separates components well
This tray was used to separate the parts of the soldering kits I had bought for my daughter. Using it she was able to sort the transistors with different currents(?), and other things I don’t know the names of :-). She really likes it especially as she moved on to more complicated projects and now is freewheeling it doing stuff that’s not exactly from a kit and the pieces are more varied. ... show more

Originally thought this was small white and silicon. It’s clear and fits exactly over 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper- perfect for labeling. Ifixit site has parts sheets for sorting your project’s screws. Very convenient.
