It was easy to set up the camera and parent unit. I really like that the unit displays the time and temperature. The alarm is a little bit jarring, but is a good feature if you need a feeding time reminder or room temperature warning. The cord for the camera is adequate and could use a little more length, while the parent unit cord is too short to charge from the wall to an average height bedside table. I am really pleased with the clarity of the night vision display. The monitor display is not grainy. This monitor has a lot of Pros! Clear image quality for day and night vision, easy to use and responsive controls, wide turning angles especially for up and down movement, and standard features like talk, VOX, music that would expect for a quality monitor and it easily rivals more expensice models. The fact that I got it on sale was icing on the cake. Only two Cons, but neither were deal breakers for me. 1. There is no visual volume indicator on the control device (dots/colored bar that moves based on sound intensity detected). I just always leave the volume on but screen off. 2. The temp gage on the camera is off by +8 degrees. It displays 80F when the room is actually at 72F (validated with 2 other themometers). But now that I know that, I just account for it. Wish I could calibrate the temp though. 4.5 stars if it was possible. Value given the sale price full 5 stars! ... show more

Originally had one camera when my son was born and within two weeks of using it it quit working. It was one that connected to the Wi-Fi and one or the other could never stay connected to the Wi-Fi. So I love that this one doesn’t have to be connected to any Wi-Fi, because it was more of a pain than a convenience. So far this one works great.
